Reheats food like an air fryer or toaster oven!
I decided to try this because I wanted to reheat things without heating up the whole oven or having them come out of the microwave limp and rubbery. I thought about getting an air fryer or toaster oven, but don't have room for another appliance. This works great! I followed the instructions and my leftover pizza came out crisp and hot with nice gooey cheese. I also used it to reheat leftover corn fritters that came out crisp, and BBQ ribs (flipped the ribs halfway through) that came out sizzling and juicy. The nonstick surface cleans easily and it doesn't take up a lot of space - I store it on edge in the cupboard. Highly recommend.

Pizza in the Microwave
Followed the instructions and preheated it for 3 minutes before placing the pizza in it. Been using refrigerated ready to bake supermarket pizzas and they come out great. Rule of thumb is to cook the pizza for 1/4 the time of a conventional oven. So I preheat the pan for 3 minutes (on high) and cook the pizza for another 4.5 minutes on high setting. Cooking time in a regular oven would be 15-18 minutes. The pan gets very hot so use a pot holder or mitt. Let the pizza sit in the microwave for a few minutes after cooking. Also tried a frozen rising crust pizza and that came out well. The crust didn't turn out brown and toasty. It was fully cooked and tasty. You are limited to smaller pizzas since the pan is only 12 inches in diameter. That is why I gave it only four stars. To be fair, my microwave oven couldn't hold a pan that was too much larger. Have not used it to cook anything other than pizza yet.

Works VERY Well!
Wife would complain whenever we tried to reheat fries, fish, or fried chicken in the microwave. Things would always come out soggy, etc. This new Maconee microwave pan does a MUCH better job leaving fried chicken crispy instead of soggy.I did not see any sparks during cooking, etc.Looking forward to trying other foods as well.My wife is very happy with this pan.

Does what it says it is made for well
I am doing more microwave cooking than in the past. I have purchased a few microwave cooking utensils and with only one exception I am satisfied with their usefulness. This one is useful and allows me to put a pizza leftover from the night before in the microwave and enjoying it another day just like it was fresh. That is good enough for me.

Okay
Interesting but unnecessary to me

Great for convection microwave
We bought this to use in our RV convection microwave and we love it! The thought of metal in a microwave was intimidating at first but thanks to this pan we’ve grown comfortable using the convection feature. We constantly use this pan now and are so happy with the size and convenience.

Nice made pan, but not worth the money to reheat pizza.
The crisper pan is well made and thick. I bought it to warm up pizza. To me, I have the same results as using a Corelle dinner plate with plastic wrap over it to keep the crust from dying out. The Maconne Crisper plate is a wonderful idea, just not perfected yet. Need a lid to put on it perhaps? I returned it only because I have no intention of using it for bacon and eggs and warming up other foods because I don't want my microwave to be splattered all up inside. Easier on the stove top than fool with the inside of the microwave.
