Best Cloth Mouse Mat / Pad Available
The media could not be loaded. IntroductionEveryone has heard of SteelSeries, Razer, Puretrak, Thermaltake, etc. Not many people have heard of Glorious PC Gaming Race. I know I never did until I stumbled upon a mouse pad I thought would be perfect for myself. It was ginormous, stitched edges, all black, and super cheap. I ordered one. It turned out to be epic, and I don't mean better-than-the-rest epic, I mean better-than-the-rest-and-I-won't-buy-another-mouse-pad epic. The best part of the whole deal was being able to talk to them and communicate my thoughts and expressions directly, it was something I've never been able to do, except with ZOWIE for a short period of time. Anyway, back to the mouse pad, it comes in five different sizes Large (13x11"), Extra Large (18x16" 3mm), Extra Large Heavy (18x16" 6mm), Extended (36x11"), and XXL Extended (36x18"). So many options.ReviewI'll be honest, when I ordered one of their mouse pads, I wasn't expecting much. I ordered a XL Heavy, since I loved using a QcK+ Heavy. I've used almost every mouse pad on the market, and I usually always go back to a QcK. However, I can assure you that is not the case anymore. With the Glorious PC Gaming Race mouse pads you get a medium-low friction with a semi smooth surface. It's fantastic for all sensitivities, but probably favors low and medium over high. If you used a high sensitivity, you probably wouldn't have much control over your mouse. For this review I've used a SteelSeries Kinzu v1, Kinzu v2, and Logitech G302. I do not test mouse pads with laser sensors, they are not nearly as picky as optical. I can say with 100% confidence that the fabric used for these mouse pads does not affect the performance or hinder an optical sensor in any way. The G302 has a great sensor, so I expected that to be good. However, with my SteelSeries Kinzu v3 it had trouble tracking on a QcK at high speeds, and another one as well. Both were all black, so I thought it was the sensor. I tried it on the Glorious PC Gaming Race mouse pads and it seemed to have improved a lot.Another fantastic thing about these mouse pads is the rubber backing. It's thick, but not too thick. It does not slide at all, though I have a standard desk with no anomalies. Overall, the Glorious PC Gaming Race mouse pads have been amazing to me. I have used them for nearly two weeks and have not once had a single defect or issue yet. I've went between many different sizes and options, and I seemed to have fell in love with the XXL Extended version. It's big enough for my monitor, keyboard, and mouse. I will never run out of space, and it allows me to play the way I need to and feel the most comfortable at the same time.ConclusionIf you're looking for a mouse pad, and need a specific size, or want to try something totally new, get one of these Glorious PC Gaming Race mouse pads. They have a size for everyone, and they perform as good, if not better, than the competition. I can't think of a single cloth mouse pad that performs better than these, especially a QcK or a Razer Goliath. The kicker to all of this is their price, it's completely insane for the quality that you're getting. As of this article, the most expensive option is $22. A similarly spec'd mouse pad from another company would be $30-40 easily, and you wouldn't get stitched edges. Pick one of these up today!

Failure to buy this pad will mark you as a console peasant.
Serious part - HUGE mouse pad covering both my keyboard with 10 Key, leaving plenty of room for my mouse to glide. Keeps stuff from slipping on a hardwood desktop, and add some nice cushioning to the overall experience. Not too thick, just right. I would purchase another one if someone were to take this one, and it seems very durable and should do well for quite a while. Very nice small silk screened logo on the pad. Obviously good customer support and desire to do the right thing. Always a positive. Strongly recommend. Not quite so serious part - Not only did this mouse pad improve my life, by being very big and mousepaddy. I suddenly regrew all of my hair, and it's very wavy (Fabio like almost). It seems to have improved my very computer with it's epic coolness and the Glorious PC logo. My frame rates have increased as if I added 2, maybe 3 Titans in SLI, and overclocked them Easily 300 FPS in ultra mode. My proc temperatures have plummeted, and I can actually get 8.9 GHz out of my 4970K. After logging in to Battlefield, every single shot I took resulted in 3 kills, at least. Lastly, Bethesda called and said they were sorry, but my free early release copy of Fallout 4 was late, and even though it would arrive tomorrow, would I accept a fully functional PipBoy 3000 as an apology? I accepted when they added in a NukaCola Quantum. As an aside, I'm not quite sure it's related, but really pretty girls have started randomly walking up to me and kissing me, saying something about how sexy a Glorious Gamer is... My Fiance is not so happy about that. I suppose there are always give and takes in life.Praise GabeN

No more discomfort
I wanted to get some solid use out of this before doing a review. And I've done just that. So here's the review. This is the best mouse pad. End review... Just kidding, but seriously. This thing is great! It's huge. Oh, so huge. I wanted something big and cushy to place on my desk because I rest my elbows and wrists on it often. After hours of design work and illustration I would start to feel moderate discomfort. Not any more.I got the XL because I wanted to cover as much surface area as possible with this magically cushy material. I can fit part of my laptop, mouse and a second keyboard (don't ask) on this and still have space to rest all my elbows and wrists if necessary.Having the heavy version is great because I can prop the front of my laptop on it and it actually aides in ventilation by creating a small gap between the bottom of the laptop and the desk. This might not be the case for all models of laptop, but it works with mine and is a nice little treat. Mmm...I've read how some folks are having issues with the mat laying flat on the the desk. This is due to it being shipped rolled up. I haven't had this problem. So, I'm not sure what to say about it. Try rotating it once in a while so it's getting used on all sides. It might aide in making it more flat.I love how it's stitched around the edge. Remember how mousepads used to peel? Well, they still do unless they are like this one. The stitching also means it can be machine washed. I haven't had a need to wash it yet, but the day I spill some BBQ sauce on it I'll be glad I got this specific mat.I mean, damn. I'm purposefully digging my elbows into the mat trying to feel the hard desk below. It takes a lot of force in order to, but anyway. I really wanted the long version of this mat, but it was too long for my desk. I'm glad I measured it. I just wish my whole desk had this mat on it. It's that nice. I like to let the mat overhang on the edge of the desk too.I have nothing bad to say about this mat. I struggle to even find anything to critique to help them improve it. Nothing. I got nothing. It's great. A small investment that has given me so much in return. I can't recall the amount of discomfort I felt before this mat came into my life. I would buy it again and again if I had to.
