Cleans up diamond blades well
I got this for my bathroom tile project after reading reviews about how it will help diamond blades on tile saws. It works well and notice a big difference in cutting every time I use it. I tried to be strategic about how deep and how much space I put between cuts to prolong its life without losing effectiveness.

This is a necessary tool for a diamond wetsaw
Well made, works well. It unclogs the diamond blade, and you can cut better. I run a glass cutting blade on one of my wetsaws, much finer cut, minimal chipping. However, porcelain clogs up the pores in the blade, so this dressing stone is necessary. You can't really run a wetsaw without cleaning the blade. Various brands out there, no doubt, but I bought it for the Raimondi name. Here's the thing....if you don't clean your blade fairly frequently, it won't cut the harder tile we use nowadays. It doesn't take much, but I also clean the last 1/2 inch of the blade on both sides. Works better, imo.

Works well
A little smaller than anticipated, but it works well

Really great
This will make "dull" diamond blades cut like new! 24" Porcelain tile was taking 2-3 minutes to cut. After cutting a sliver of the rubbery-stone, it took 25 seconds to make the same cut (with cleaner, less chipped edges). Really great

A MUST for glass tile blades
Although I no longer set tile professionally, I specialized in extremely technical installations, backsplashes and bathrooms primarily.I recently completed a backsplash using 2-inch foil-backed hex glass. This dressing Stone was critical the success of making this project shine.I used a moderately priced glass blade, roughly $60. The blade works great- but needed to be hit with the dressing Stone frequently in order to minimize chipping on the back of the foil, as well as the speed of cut.Well worth the price of admission

A must have for any professional tile installer.
I use this periodically while cutting porcelain tile. It really cleans up the diamond blade. It keeps any buildup off the blade and keeps it cutting straight and true. Just make tiny shaving cuts every few hundred cuts to keep your diamond blade in great shape.

Went beyond my expectations
I can't believe that after 30 years of remodeling kitchens and baths I am just now trying one of these. Just ONE slice off this block restored my 10" wet saw blade back to new condition. It fixed the sides as well (I do a lot of side-rubbing on the blade)Fortunately I saved a couple blades after they went dull yet still had plenty of diamond on them. Now I know I can restore them when the time comes. This is a must have for any Tile Setter.

Not great
Feels gummy, not sure it even improves cutting performance. The other stones I have had in the past were much better. Won’t buy again
