Great budget knife
The media could not be loaded. I haven't had many knives to compare this to, but for this price, I was surprised at how solid this knife was. The action is very smooth and the crossbar lock has not given me any issues. The sharpness out of the box is decent but not mind-blowing. I haven't had it for too long, but it has kept a decent edge so far.

Good quality product
I like the size and sharpness of this knife as an edc. I have another Ganzo/Firebird knife and am impressed with the quality and sharpness that this company produces. Good price too!

The little EDC that could
Quite possibly the best $20 EDC you can buy. It came sharp, and with a bit of light stropping (like literally 2-3 swipes) the 440c blade is a razor. Add in the knockoff axis lock and this is hard to beat. Even at several times the cost. One note- I did thoroughly clean and relube (not disassemble, just some KPL on the pivot) the knife when it arrived. I also fractionally opened the pivot screw. In less than 5 minutes, the knife looked, felt, and performed just as readily as my premium folders. The G10 is utilitarian, and the hardware is simply finished, but all the seams align and the action is snappy and predictable within a couple hours of use. I expect the knife will feel even better once its fully broken in.Bottom line: if you need an inexpensive solid knife with good steel and good ergos, this is it.

Premium Pocket Knife
This is my second GanZo pocket knife. Im probably wrong about this, but I seriously think this is actually a Kizer brand knife. I know of very few online knife stores that carry this brand (GanZo). The few that do, charge almost double what one may pay per Amazon. The only reason I do not offer a five star rating deals with the sharpness of the blade. It's sharp enough straight out of the box. After extended use the first month of ownership, it is becoming dull. If I could truly sharpen a knife, half as much i may act like I can, I would not worry about it. But that's another review. For the price and the quality, you will not regret ownership of a GanZo knife.

Seems like a solid budget knife.
The media could not be loaded. I have pretty small hands (below average, if we’re being honest) and I feel pretty comfortable with this knife. Axis locks can cause a bit of trouble for my stubby fingers. Obviously for $20, I don’t know how high you should set your expectations, but I can say that this feels like a really solid entry-level budget knife or beater knife. You won’t be heart broken if you break it. It absolutely took a couple hours of fidgeting to break in, but it seems pretty darn smooth (and getting smoother with every open). Please take my review with a grain of salt - I’m not a knife person. It’s not really my hobby. Having said that here’s how I feel, compared to my Rat II: Not quite as smooth as my Rat II. I don’t get the same satisfying snap when I open the knife. This could be improved as I break the knife in more and more. The Rat II feels ever so slightly more substantial in my hand, though it is a slightly smaller knife. Perhaps this is the material of the handles, I’m not sure. The blade, however, seems better on the FB. I have the Aus-8 version of the Rat II, so I do believe the 440C is a better material. The Rat II likely has better QC. The blade centering (not sure what you call this) is better on my Rat II, the FB is ever so slightly off. Yeah, the FB feels a little bit cheaper…because it is. All in all, I really think I’m going to enjoy the FB.You may as well give this knife a go. It’s fun to play around with, the blade comes razor sharp and it’s $20. It’s incredibly tough to beat a $20 knife that feels this good, but hey, I did say to take my review with a grain of salt.

Great knife! Sharp out of the box with smooth bearing action!
This knife has such a smooth action that I can thumb flick it without using any wrist action etc. Upon inspection, I think I see bearings in the pivot of this knife. That is mind blowing to have a bearing pivot axis lock Rat II clone with a good 440C steel blade that takes a wicked edge and holds it better than AUS 8 etc. The blade was hair popping sharp out of the box. I can hold one of my beard hairs by the end and this blade would cut the part projecting outward repeatedly. The size is large enough to be useful, but small and thin enough to be relatively unobtrusive. Blade profile is really thin and slicey. Cuts effortlessly. Fit and finish are fantastic (as always with Ganzo). 440C steel is good stuff despite what some snobs like to say. Pocket clip is well made and very nice. The knife is a knockoff of the Ontario Rat, but it has an axis lock like Benchmade knives have. This knife is a joy to own and use.
