Deliciousness without guilt!
The recipes are very detailed and even have tips to ensure they can be successfully made. I did a couple already and the taste is very good, it is even hard to believe they are so healthy!I ordered some of the non-common ingredients in Amazon, to follow exactly as describe and they come out delicious, can't wait to bake more. I know personally people that has reverted diabetes with Keto, but we don't need to wait to be sick to learn how to eat healthier and if it is delicious even better! This book is a great solution to have special delicious treats without compromising your health.

Easy to follow recipes with simple ingredients
Easy to follow simple recipes that calls for easy to find ingredients. I have bought several keto and low carb cookbooks, and I usually end up giving them away. But this Essential Keto Bread cookbook is by far the best. I won't be giving this one away!

My first Dedicated keto bread book
I started keto for the first time on June 1 and was on it for four months until life happened and I had to go off. I am now beginning a new year trying to get back on the wagon. I had two keto cookbooks prior to this one, and only one book had a few bread recipes. I wanted to get something with just bread recipes because that’s what I miss the most. I don’t need desserts or brownies or cake or muffins, but I really miss having something to hold a hamburger other than a few lettuce leaves. I might add here, that on keto only 3 months June-August and early Sept, my A1C went down from 6.3 (in April) to 5.8 in early Sept. I was happy enough to do backflips. So that's another reason I started the new year off again low-carbing it, not just for weight loss (I lost 2 lbs per month, before that, I lost nothing!), but for healthy blood test reports so my doctor wouldn't keep reading me the riot act with high A1C numbers. I don't hear much from those on keto as to the health benefits, but mostly just weightloss goals. So that is something to consider as you bake some keto bread!I know I will have to acquire a taste for this bread,, like anything else. I’ve only made two recipes from this book so far, and I am learning a lot. I didn’t realize so much shredded mozzarella was needed for these breads, but I always have that in the house anyway. The only thing I needed to buy was a small amount of psyllium husk powder which I don’t have as a basic pantry item. I ordered more coconut flour and more almond flour. Basically everything else is a pantry staple.I made the Everything Bagels today, I chose that because it used yeast of which I thought was a novel ingredient and would lift up the normally flat bread that is Keto. It doesn’t rise like regular bread does, so I guess I have to get used to that too. But it is brown and looks like a bagel. And I can slice it in half and use it as a sandwich holder. The day before I made a loaf of the Basic sandwich bread which used flaxseed and almond flour and a little bit of coconut flour and some other ingredients. Again, It looks like a Savory flat poundcake. It’s about 3 inches high at its highest point. You really have to suspend your belief when eating this to replace bread. In order to make it more palatable, I toast it as I like texture and crunch and it does add extra flavor. I have also found out that I like the taste of coconut flour in these baked goods more than the almond flour, the bagels tasted more like real bread than the loaf bread did. Unfortunately most of the bread seems to favor almond flour in greater proportions. The author is really helpful in the nutritional info at end of each recipe, it is invaluable information to have, especially when it comes to carbs. You get the carb amount and the net carbs, and the fiber and most of all you get the breakdown of the three macros. I haven’t seen any of the keto cookbooks that do that so far.My only pet peeve is that I am a big proponent of weighing flour in what I’m baking. I like to use my digital scale where I can and use grams or ounces but there are no such measurements given... just cups, and it is risky because one person will scoop it with a heavier hand and another person will dip in the flour lighter, that can change the outcome of the bread. I’m sure the author has made these recipes countless times and knows the weight of all of these recipe flours, and I wish she would have shared it with us. So what I do is I scoop it out and weigh it and make a notation in the margin and hope it’s right. If I am happy with the results, then I can reliably use that weight again... otherwise I probably would not try it again. For this reason I wish every cookbook author who uses recipes for baking would please give us the digital flour weight. She even states in the beginning introductory page that it is useful and important to have a digital scale but then she doesn’t give us the digital measurements. Just a pet peeve as I said. But it seems like a strange omission for someone who has written such detailed information in other ways.I see a recipe for a flat bread, a focaccia, it says to use a baking sheet but it doesn’t say what size sheet pan. It says to fill up the sheet pan with the dough, it’s important to know what size the pan is because that will determine whether the bread is thicker or thinner.. Again a detail that is helpful to know. Trial and error is part of life, here too.I will try more recipes and come back with my reviews.Update: 1/12/20: Tried the (blueberry) pancakes. There are several recipes more or less following the same recipe. I don't bother with syrups so I just made the pancake w/o the b'berry topping. I would cut back on the sweetener too, maybe it's just me, but I don't like it too sweet. Also uses coconut flour, baking powder, a bit of heavy cream, cream cheese, etc...it wasn't bad. I say this bc I tried a recipe from another general keto cookbook I had, so comparing the two, that other one was a big flop. Literally and figuratively. This was much better. Puffier as it should be. Use a wide spatula if like me you pour out more than the 3 TBS called for per pancake. These pancakes are more fragile that regular ones, they might break if you make them too big when flipping it over. It made MUCH more than it says though. I made a half recipe which was to make five (of 10) pancakes. But I just poured it into the pan from the blender w/o measuring, so my pancakes were pretty big. I got five yes, but five WIDE pancakes. Regardless, go by your hunger quotient and eat what you may 'per serving.' I would make them again.

Heard good things
I have been sick so only just took a look at it . It is for keto beginners seems to me with lots of helpful information for those that are just getting started baking in the Keto WOL, but the recipes sound good. Will update when I get a chance to bake. They sound delicious, and different from the dry and sometimes difficult ways of baking Keto style.

Easy and spot on.
I liked that the recipes were simple and quick to make. Everyday loaf for sandwiches I have made weekly. Enjoyed by the "non- glutent free or keto " people in my family alike.

Lots of recipes
I really like the variety of recipes in the book, I haven't made any of them yet but will definitely do some of them soon. I took a star just because a recipe book should provide more pictures of the final product, that's my opinion whatsoever.

Great cookbook if you are not watching your carbs
I purchased this cookbook because I can not consume sugar and need to keep my total carb load to almost nothing - including 'net carbs.' I'd found some recipes on the internet for other things and thought I'd invest in some cookbooks - especially for bread recipes, since I miss bread. A lot.If you are not eating to repair your body, this cookbook is great. It has a LOT of recipes for breaded items that look delicious. Unfortunately, out of all the recipes, there was only a handful I'd be able to tolerate so it wasn't worth the investment.
