SAMSUNG SH850 Series 24 Inch QHD 2560x1440 Desktop Monitor for Business (in White) with USB-C, HDMI, DisplayPort, 3-Year Warranty (S24H851QFN)

With everyone working from home right now it was a little frustrating trying to order a monitor - I kept having choices sell out from underneath me before I could finish the checkout process while the inventories were low. I had this monitor added to my List early on but kept trying to find a "deal" with some lower end monitors and finally when I gave up on that I went ahead and order the one that really caught my eye - this one.This is the highest quality monitor - both picture and structure-wise I've ever had. I was a little worried it would't look all that great next to my Retina display Macbook Pro but turns out it looks at least on par, possibly better in this resolution (24-inch, 2560 x 1440). I was actually really surprised.I use this with HDMI on my Macbook and with USB-C on my Chromebook I alternatively hook up to it (I just swap out the Mac on the stand). Takes the Chromebook especially to a whole new level of usability. If you have space to hook up a computer with HDMI and USB-C at the SAME TIME you CAN with this one - you just toggle the input (fast to do with the button on the monitor). I haven't messed with the feature but it does multiple inputs and desktops on the same screen in different box combinations too. You can also chain these together. If I ever had a different computer (and deskspace) to daisy chain another one of these I will buy a second one.It comes with all cables you need to hook up for HDMI, USB-C, or chaining to a second of these monitors. My only complaint was in how the HDMI cable was packed - it was kinked too hard in packaging and had to be replaced within a couple weeks. Not too big of a deal since I had a spare already but it would be nice if they were more careful with the cables to not pack them so tightly. It wasn't a big enough issue to me to dock this gorgeous monitor any points though.Comes with plenty of settings to adjust the screen as you see fit for your viewing - including quick presets that are easy to switch to if you have preference between how it looks for your games, movies, graphics, etc. It also has a blue light filtering mode for easier on your eyes viewing at night (and it can be combined with blue light filtering modes on your computer for extra warmness).All in all a great monitor. I was happy enough with it to write a review (which I don't normally take the time to do).

I've been looking for a while for a QHD screen and this one is a keeper! It took me a bit to find the physical button for adjustments and power off/on. It is a JOG button on the back near the lower right edge. This button is much more user-friendly and much more intuitive than I anticipated, I love it. The screen is excellent. Can be adjusted for Eco savings, Eye saving (reduce blue) and there is gamer mode but I am not a gamer. So many cable jacks in the back for so many connectivity options. The height adjustment is great and the flat pedestal let's me use much of the space underneath the monitor without having it VESA mounted.The PDF manual is on the Samsung web site and it was helpful.

I bought this specifically because it's a medium sized, white monitor and it matches my all white aesthetic. Aside from going with my theme, it's actually a great monitor and I love everything about it. I connect my MacBook to the monitor and it doesn't wash the colors away at all. I mainly use this for photo and video editing and so far I haven't had any problems with it!

Its alright for a 1440 monitor, mine came with a black power cable which I thought was an odd pairing with a white monitor. It's nice that the base is mostly flat, but it's still kind of thick and takes up a lot of space. I ultimately returned this because my it didn't seem to be getting along with my 2019 MacBook Pro. Occasionally Youtube videos and sometimes even the whole screen would display as solid green and I'd have to restart my Macbook with the monitor connected to fix the issue. Moreover there were issues with how fonts appeared on screen as well. A quick search suggested that these issues are related to how the MacBook handles scaling from the retina display to 1440. There are some work arounds but ultimately for my use case the easiest solution with the best results was to return this and get a 4K monitor.

Its good. I like it. Its large and your do not need a monitor riser. And i love the white.The ONLY reason its not 5 stars for me is its just not THAT crisp. Pictures and videos look great but words and type are just ok. But honestly i guess thats a difference between a really high end (like the apple one) and this one. But it doesnt bother me that much. I think its a good deal.The other thing is attaching the stand to the monitor is tricky! It took me several minutes to realize that the black part on the stand needs to be like perfectly aligned with the lock behind the screen. I almost gave up until i like paid extreme close attention to the picture on the instruction book (it is not obvious) so i had to rotated the black part with my fingers which kind of hurt. But once i got it in the correct postion it was fine.No issues connecting it with my mac book pro. And i love that it came with all the wires needed! So i didnt have to buy anything extra.I recommend if your just looking for a decent monitor. I don't think this one is bad for the price.

The media could not be loaded. I wish more companies did all white computers still. Or do all chrome or all gold. As someone who enjoys interior design and also needs extremely fast and reliable technology, i bought thus because it looked really streamlined and modern. I didnt want my computer desk area to be distracting so all white everything and it looks fantastic. I get lots of compliments on my desk space when friends and clients come by. Technology should be functional as well as beautiful looking. The picture quality is also fantastic for full hd. Almost looks like my 4k monitors. Highly recommend!
