SEIDO Hand Towel Holder Chrome, 304 Stainless Steel Bathroom Towel Bar, 9 Inch Towel Racks for Bathroom, Polished Chrome

We needed a simple towel bar for our guest bathroom. Comparable bars from a plumbing supply house can cost several times more than this one that we found on Amazon. So, we decided to give it a try. It arrived today and took less than 15 minutes to install. There were no installation instructions, but having installed similar products in other bathrooms in our house, none were really needed. The bar came with four drywall anchors and screws, along with an allen wrench for tightening the set screen that holds the tower bar to the mounting plates. Since the center-to-center distance on the mounting plates is closer to 33" than 32", and because of where we wanted it located, we did have to use the drywall anchors. The bar is more than long enough to fit our widest bath towels. The polished chrome finish matches the other metal in the guest bathroom. While we will have to see how well it holds up over time, we are quite happy with this purchase. It looks great and was an excellent value.

June 2024: I purchased the 9" chrome towel bar to mount on the side of a bath vanity. The back plates are rather sizeable/bulky, AND the brand name is etched on the top of it. If I wasn't mounting where the edge of our vanity top covers that branding, this would have gone back. But it is up and seems very nice for the price But that brand name etched on the rim...very tacky.

THE START- I was impressed with this right out of the box. Looked good, looked sturdy, and well packagedTHE GOOD- As mentioned, this towel rack does look good!- It is high quality, and very sturdy. I would be comfortable doing pull-ups on this (properly secured of course)- The instal is not overly complicated, just takes some common sense.- What more is there to say? I mean, it hold your towels!!The END- Good Quality, I do not regret buying!

Towel is perfect width for 2 normal size bath towels. I think ours are actually a little larger than average bath towel size, and there's still a few inches to spare on the bar. Quality good also, so I'm very satisfied😊

Easy to measure and install. One side was into a stud, so I didn't need a molly. on the other side, I used an expandable metal molly I had in the garage. I don't use plastic molly bolts like the one sent with the product. They just aren't strong enough to suit me.
