SuperDFM-Backyard Poultry, Probiotic Supplement for Poultry, Makes 120 Gallons

I have had chickens for over 15 years and once I found this product I noticed that it improved mortality, overall health, and egg production. While other products have been helpful; this product can be used from day 1 and does not have a withdrawal period. I also learned that it works throughout the entire digestive system. All you need is 1/10th of a teaspoon added to a gallon of fresh water each day. large industry production facilities are using the product and now I understand how it improves their bottom line. I am basically saying that this product is worth it's weight in gold.

This product is labeled for waterfowl! It also contains the broadest quantity of beneficial bacteria that I have seen. It really helped my geese get the gut flora back to normal after a course of potent antibiotic. I give it only four stars because the product availability seems to be limited. I would recommend it if I could be sure that I was recommending something readily available.

My pet Silkie Chicken had diarrhea for weeks. Did a fecal and found no worms but the vet put her on meds anyway, but they weren't helping and she was losing weight.I was very happy when these probiotics arrived, and in about a week her poops went back to 100% normal. These probiotics are a white powder, doesn't color the water or effect taste (yes I tasted it..), which is awesome because my little spoiled house chicken is picky and was already feeling bad. I mixed the probiotics with warm filtered water and stir for a couple minutes, and then I filled up the rest with cold filtered water (I wanted to be sure the chlorine in the tap didn't weaken or kill any of those good bugs!!)I also use these for my Parrot before times of stress to help ramp up his immune system.I highly recommend!!

I have chickens who now seem to be much more healthy and stable than ever! I don’t use every water fill but off an on as much of the summer water goes stale and slimy before they even drink it up.I will always buy this stuff it’s that good for your chickens

Good probiotic

This used to be the BEST formula anywhere. It was near impossible to find an excellent probiotic with no sugar in it. I had used it successfully on a goose, pigeon, and a cockatiel to restore health after sickness. I JUST received my "refill" order, and now see they CHANGED the formula to include the dreaded...Sucrose! I couldn't believe it - so very, very unhappy about this. I am now returning it, and will have to search for a new product. P.S. Some of the best wildlife rehabbers and avian vets around me say that sucrose and dextrose in probiotics is a contradiction. While sugar may cause a slightly longer shelf life, it will also cause yeasts to grow in the birds. Even if they had use a natural, raw, unprocessed sugar it would have been tolerable, but why oh why white bleached table sugar??????**NOTE** I just had superior success with Southland Organic's Probiotic called "Big Ole Bird". It's sold here on Amazon. No sugars, all natural - have never experienced such lightning fast results with any other product in my life- I'm sold on the B.O.B.
