Japanese populer Ramen "ICHIRAN" instant noodles tonkotsu 5 meals(Japan Import) - PACK OF 3

Don't know what's the magic of these noodles (JK, it's the soup base of course), my husband LOVES it. We bought one pack to try out and then ended up buying 10 boxes more to stock up. The price fluctuates and it's easy to go out of stock so it really took us a while to hunt it down. But it's so worth it! My husband said he could eat it every day and never get tired of it. Well there could be a little exaggeration but you get the idea. Admittedly 5 bucks for a meal is much more costly than any other instant noodles on the market, but it DOES taste superior and you will not regret it.

We went to Japan and stood in line at Ichiran Ramen. Was so happy to find it for sale on Amazon! Great taste! Noodle portion is a little small, but tastes delicious. Noodles are a nice texture as well

I purchased the three pack, 15 servings for $75, $5 per serving. Great deal compared to the normally $8-9 dollar per serving packs being sold. It is $29 at the Japanese market for three servings, nearly $10 a serving. Anyway, this broth kills it. So rich and flavorful.This isn't 'instant' ramen like the fried curly noodles like Top Ramen, Maruchan, Shin Ramen or Sapporo Ichiban. The soup packet isn't a dry powder. It is liquid using pork, bone and pork fat extract. The noodles are dry noodles like pasta noodles.Don't overcook, like pasta should be just a bit firm. Do not use the water you boiled the noodles in for your broth. There is too much starch left in it. You should have clean boiled water to mix the broth. Drain the noodles into a colander, shake out excess water, place the noodles into the hot broth.Add any of your toppings, cabbage, spinach, bean sprouts, mushrooms, etc. Add thin sliced meat, it can be pork, steak, chicken and a boiled egg. For liquid yolk, eggs should be boiled for around 6 minutes 30-40 seconds. Add the chili powder to some water to make a paste then add as much as you like. Adding the toppings can take a minute or two, so that's the reason to cook the noodles firm. They will soften and absorb the broth in the bowl.

Gifts for friends. Pricey but they enjoyed it. Same price or slightly less than our market. Quality product from Japan. Was happy to see it available here for purchase.

This is an excellent soup. Beats all the other instant ramens out there. But it’s too expensive to order all the time.

Probably the best packaged ramen out there. Very flavorful, comparable to some of the best ramen shop offerings. Just add your own combination of veggies and protein and you have yourself an incredible meal. A little pricey but worth it.
