Thick and sharp!
These are high-quality hooks with a sharp point for inserting into fabric. They’re not quite as thick as the Kirsch hooks I had previously been using, but they’re close and an excellent substitute.

Buy the lesser quality hooks.
They were a little harder to pin thru the curtain fabric than I would have liked.

Sturdy and Sharp
I bought these to hook into a hook belt in my curtains and then string the ring through the hook to hang the curtains on the rod. The hooks are heavy duty. My curtains are thick and have 2 linings and a hook belt for the hook to go through. It took a little practice for me to figure out how to hook these through thick material. I found the easiest way was to lay the curtain lining side up on the ground, crouch on my knees on top of the curtain so my weight helps hold the curtain in place. Then put the bend through my index finger, hook into the belt then pull like crazy. These are sturdy and can take a lot of pressure to get through everything. The first time I did it, I pierced my finger. The tip is sharp and needs to be to get through all the material. I made sure to not just hook into the belt but also into the first layer of the curtain material so the hook is more firmly in place and doesn't flop around. This helps give the curtain more stability. Each of my panels is 50" and I placed the hooks 8 inches apart. I placed the top of the hook so that it sat 1/4" below the top of the curtain. I should have lowered them to 1/2" below for better disguising of the hooks' holes. Then, I threaded the rings through and hung onto the rod.

Too small
Thought these would be bigger. Some things are hard to order on Amazon because you really can’t tell the size unless you can see it in person. On line shopping isn’t always great.
