Sturdy, has flexible spine
Favorite binder. I like to color code my work. There are numerous colors (I like them all). The binders are sturdy, they have a flexible spine.

Perfect binder!
Buy it, you won't be sorry! This is the first and likely the last binder I'll need to buy for a very long time! These binders are so durable and the color is one of my favorites! The interior pocket is great and can old a good chunk of papers. I also love that the rings can easily by opened unlike the older style of three ring binders.

Great binders
20200413 -- Years ago, I used the Office Depot professional binds, I had standardized my entire office filing on those binders. They were colored, heavy plastic with a place to insert a cover on the binder, and a spine to insert a label. My office files were color-coded, so the colored binders were a great fit to easily match the binder color to the file type. The rings were sturdy, easy to open, and hard to open accidentally. Then, after spends 100's of dollars on those binders (about $14 each, and I bought maybe 200 or more) Office Depot discontinued the binders. Then I switched to the Staple binder. Many of the same great features, and about the same cost. And, three years later, Staples is still making the binder, that is a big plus.ProsHeavy constructionEasy openPocket insideInsert for label on coverInsert for label on spineAvailable in multiple colorsConsPocket on the inside cover not all that useful (not much of a con, really)

The BEST
These are the only binders I will use in my classroom for my students. They take a lickin' and keep on tickin'. If I could give more than 5 stars, I WOULD!!! They are durable and sturdy! I love them.

This is a great, solid, 3 ring binder, but . . . . . a 4 starproduct for me.1) I don't need the inside plastic envelope which takes uproom for my papers.2) I tried to peel off the outside cover, not knowing that thefancy paper was inside a plastic sleeve , , (dumb me!)3) Inside the spine is a paper for label, but no info on howto install it.( This info is only to keep you from having the same problems )

Best binder on the market
The only binder I will buy. Each and every binder I have purchased still functions properly. Some look a bit tattered, but structurally still intact function like day 1. Hands down the absolute best binder on the market! Available in a variety of colors.Side note: my daughter takes care of her property without misusing. They aren’t thrown around on the floor. She carries them to and from in a back pack. She is a senior and I started buying these when she was in the 5th grade. If you cram more in them than they can hold then the rings might produce a gap from bending. After a period of time of bending they will become warped. Again, only if filled past their capacity.
