Perfect addition!
This Subwoofer is amazing! Especially paired with other Samson speakers. No complicated setup, just plug and play! Volume control is also great! It gets very loud, even at 1/2 volume so there's no way to have too much bass

I really liked the appearance of the cabinet and the impressive array ...
As expected, the subwoofer arrived on time and undamaged (double-boxed). I really liked the appearance of the cabinet and the impressive array of hookup options on the back. The ease of setup added to the delight, although setup does require basic to moderate knowledge of speaker-system connections. Admittedly, I had to do some Google searching to check a few things, since the subwoofer needed to connect to a fairly complex audio workstation. Once setup, I thought the Samson did a great job of delivering bass tones. It will take me awhile to tweak the settings, but overall I am very satisfied with my purchase, especially considering the reasonable price of the unit.

Clear, accurate bass
I use this in my home project studio with a pair of KLH Model 911B 5" speakers. It was easy to set up and calibrate. Although the unit can be used in either powered or passive mode, it can only pass through a line level signal in powered mode so you have to pair it with powered studio monitors in that mode.

Subwoofer
I wasn’t sure how this would sound at first, but after hooking it up to my Samson PA system its sounds awesome! It really adds the base I need for my PA system.

Unreliable
Good until it died, just out of the 30 day return window. It would just not function at times and it got worse over that month. I should have just returned it but shipping something like this is a pain, and quite expensive too, so trying to get warranty on this is going to be a pain.Avoid and get something from Monoprice instead, or at least from a physical store so if it dies quickly you can just return it, maybe get an extended warranty if they have that option. Or better yet just avoid it entirely.

Don't think, buy this
I honestly can't recommend this enough. It's super loud, hits deep, and has plenty of clarity for mixing audio. This punches way above its price, and I can't say enough good things about it

Awesome. I just use it for my sound system in my small home studio/man-cave and it's perfect for that. Actually, I wish I had bought something exactly like this years ago.

Get what you pay for. Decent Sub, Could be Better, but cheapest high-rated option....
Arrived quick, works great. Wanted to make low-budget bedroom/closet studio space with this Samson 10S and 2 Eris E5's, and have successfully done that. The sound is loud. However you have to turn the speaker knob all the way to max and the frequency response knob all the way to all frequencies available for the Sub to really make any noticeable bass. Sounds good in small bedroom, could be louder/clearer, but you get what you pay for, and this is the Cheapest Highly-Rated Option available.
