This device's cord is about 8" longer.REVIEWI promptly lost the original wireless watch charger. This is a very similar unit marked "Active 7". It has the correct curve on its charging surface for my Samsung Watch Active 2 SM-R820 (44mm) to fit very well. Its magnet seems to hold even better than the Samsung original (OEM) unit. Self-centers the watch, and even supports its own weight when the watch is turned over.There are many similar-appearing units listed, and may actually be rebranded identical ones, but at the time I looked, this was the only one that listed the specific watch model I own. It's a crazy situation, so if you have a problem, please make sure you specify your exact watch model in your review!On first use this charged the watch from 21% to 57% in 1 Hr 7 Min on a 5V 2.1A multiport wall-charger port. Good for over a day in normal (not AOD) mode. Watch was only slightly warm.NOTE ABOUT HEATING DURING CHARGE: Most of the heat comes from the charger's coil; it's a small amount of energy lost as heat from the wireless charging process. Consumer electronic devices can operate safely even if they get quite hot. I once tested a new laboratory computer power supply that seemed dangerously hot. I checked it with a non-contact thermometer and it read about 145 F. It felt very hot, but was within the manufacturer's specs. I got a call from my lab shortly afterward from a technician also concerned about the hot power supply. I told him to press his hand on it and count. If he could hold it beyond 15 seconds, it was OK. The apparatus functioned flawlessly for many years before it was replaced for obsolescence. As were the technician and I.Takeaway: As long as the watch doesn't get hot enough to be too unpleasant to wear, it probably is not overheating.I've just ordered a second one of these so I can have one on my nightstand and another at my work area. If my original ever turns up, I'll keep it in my travel bag as a spare. You may be able to charge your watch without one by using your phone (see your phone manual), but it is dreadfully slow, and inconvenient because the watch back is convex but the phone back is flat.I also bought a nice charging stand you might enjoy. Search for "Stand for Samsung Galaxy Watch Active 40mm/ Active 2 40mm 44mm, MENEEA". I was looking for resprouts charger and you have it. I appreciate that works perfect charge is my wrist watch perfect I love it. Thank you Amazon for how many things that I think you don’t have but you do surprising all the time. I am satisfied with the charge of my phone I mean the chargers my wrist watch perfectly. I’m a happy camper.😆

These are a great replacement or back up charger. They charge quickly and I've had not issue. Been using them for travel for several months now and they work great every time.

I ordered this product on 11/9/21 and tonight, 12/9/21, it is in the garbage. I had used it for a month as spare. Like usual, on 12/9 tried to charge and watch would heat up. No charge. Waited a bit and repositioned with no success. Got the original and it works fine so ordered another Samsung charger. You get what you pay for in this instance.

I hadn't used my activity watch in 15 months because I lost the charger....I decided to purchase one from Amazon and it came today....I used my Samsung fast charger box thinking it would charge my watch quickly and it did NOTHING....I decided to use the wireless power share feature on my phone, to charge the watch, which I had completely forgotten was an option for the entire 15 months I went without a charger for the watch, anyway, it worked but was really slow and caused the watch to overheat. After trying the wireless power share feature for about an hour (off and on) because of the overheating symbol I only got about 3%...I then decided to plug the charger into my desktop and VOLIA-Ahhh MAGIC...within 10 minutes of it being plugged into my desktop I had 7%....the fast charger box, which I though would work...didn't work AT ALL. But I found the remedy so I'll keep it.
