Something that actually works for noise in tiny house! Thank you
The installation was a bit tough, but that is because we found out that we didn't have studs in the right spacing within our wall. We used this to create a sound buffer as our room shares a wall with kids bthroom and the hallway. On top of the insulation, my husband put up a "wood ship-lap" wall. It turned out great, and we can tell a big difference in the noise coming through to our room. Thank you -

Excellent product for sound dampening between floors
This product is superior for sound dampening! We used it under our solid surface flooring in our upstairs condo to address the poor insulation and noise between units. Highly recommended!

Expensive but worth it. Heavy MLV thst dryly works well to sound deaden walls and ceilings. I will be buying this again.

Not good for tropical climate
After 3 years the product is deteriorating. No longer as flexible and product is tearing, cracking, crumbling, and tacky to the feel. Product used in tropical climate.

A simple way to cut noise
We replaced the carpet in our boat with a laminate flooring (Amtico). Under the old carpet was a layer of mass loaded vinyl and, since we liked how quiet the boat is it seemed like a good idea to replace it under the new flooring. I have never used MLV before but the concept is pretty straightforward. We put it under the plywood underlainment. It arrived on time and as advertise was a heavy roll taped up. We unrolled it in the shop and found it was cut straight and clean on the edges. It was a flat sheet except for on edge had repeated depressions about 1/16", sort of like ripples. Probably no big deal unless you were laying flooring right over it, but still seems like a manufacturing imperfection. We tried several glues, Vinyl cement didn't work. Epoxy didn't work. Camie 303 spray adhesive stuck and held it to the plywood. This MLV really does work to cut sound and we can talk in our boat or listen to music with a large diesel engine right under our feet.
