Definitely recommended.

Hated these Amazon speakers everywhere. So found this after a friend showed me his. I ordered the same day and installed so easily. Now depending where you want it you will have to cut a hole. I had it in my office in the wall that my desk faces so I can access and touch the screen while working. It lived there for 1 year and just flipped my office around. So I sealed up the hole and now finding it’s new home this coming weekend. If you can’t manage holes in walls not for you.

We were originally put echo on top of 2by4 Ikea shelve. Since my turn into 18month old, he's keep trying to touch and bring that down to ground. I started mount or any shelve that I can use put higher location of wall. When I found this built in kit, just purchased it.Installation wasn't hard. Find where studs are, cut drywall with template and that's it. But hide power cable is something hard part.

First off I want to say that I'm very pleased with this bracket. They did a great job designing it, supplying a great template to cut your hole, the plastic is this and doesn't feel cheap at all, and the additional power accessory cable was a nice touch (although I don't use it). At first I was a little disappointed that the bezel on the frame was so wide, but after cutting the whole out I'm thankful it is. You will never get a super straight or smooth cut on drywall, and this bezel will hide all the ugliness from your cut. I'm so pleased with this item that I've bought 8 of them already and installed Show5s all around my house (looks super cool).HOWEVER (there's always a however), the fell short on only one area. It really irks me because I can't imagine why they designed it this way. When you install the bracket, they include 4 metal clips that have tiny sharp teeth on them. The clips is what is holding the bracket up against the drywall. There are 4 tabs sticking out on the bracket where you are to install these clips... 2 on the top (top right/top left) and 2 on the bottom (bottom right/bottom left). What I wish they would have done was included 2 more clips and added a top on the left and right side of the bracket. As you can see from my photo, the sides do not side flat against the wall because there are no clips on the backside of the wall to secure it tightly. Depending on the lighting in your room, this can cause a small shadow and at time be more noticeable. Overall, this wasn't going to stop me from purchasing more, nor stop me from leaving a positive review, but for the life of me I can't understand why they didn't add the ability for clips on the side. Hopefully, someone from the manufacturer will read this and leave a reply. This is the only reason why I didn't rate it 5-stars.

Way Better to have my Echo Show on the wall than on top of a kitchen counter. It looks very sleek and elegant and is also very practical. I mounted it on the wall next to my front door so that when someone arrives at my house I am able to see the Ring Doorbell's video feed on the Echo Show before I open the door. Since my door does not have a peep hole this is perfect to see who is at my door.

To start it is a little more expensive than I think it should be. The instuctions are pretty straight forward but do yourself a favor and make sure you have a drywall saw to make things easy on yourself. The mount itself makes for a great look to bring your smart house to the next dimension compared to having it sit on a table as an after thought. It sits flush against the wall, the speaker and controls are not covered and the echo fits tight so you don't have to worry about the device falling out. I'm considering doing this in all the bedrooms and running power over ethernet to give an even better built-in feel.

This is a great solution for those that want a small footprint on the wall to control the devices in your home. I use this in my loft which is the game room. Instead of trying to sit the show 5 on a table or shelf it now fits nicely in the wall and it's able to hear me perfectly to do simple tasks. The speaker is unaffected by the mount so the sound can be heard and the microphone will hear you fine. The only issue I had was no fault of the mount. There was something blocking the path for the wire in the wall which took a little time to figure out but once that was done everything was ok. Thumbs up.

Cool mount for my echo show 5. Easy to install, looks professional. But I have a few issues:1) There is a small gap all the way around between my echo show and the mount. I wish this gap was completely closed some how.2) My wall is only 2x3 stud, not 2x4. The kit includes a 10' extension cable, but the plug is longer than the regular one. I wish the end was right angled and not straight. I had to order a 1' extension cable with right angle plug.

I couldn’t be happier with this mount. I had been looking for a way to declutter the tops of cupboards in my living room and this was the perfect solution. It is very easy to fit thanks to the template and looks super clean the steel clips are very easy to drop inside the wall cavity but can be easily retrieved with a magnet. The mount has no noticeable impact on Alexa’s voice recognition and the sound is still loud and clear. I’m buying more now to replace the echo dots in other rooms.
