Bought a campervan last summer to use over the weekends and decided to get a tracker/immobilizer for it at the same time. What they didn't tell me is that this little safety feature likes to drain the battery. Over late autumn/winter my battery used to get drained in under 3 weeks. Finally decided to buy this trickle charger and now my my battery is nicely topped up all the time. Easy to use, small enough so that it permanently sits under the hood connected to the battery, and has all the features I could want, supporting multiple different battery types, so I can use it with the other vehicles in the family if I wanted to. It's a little bit pricier than other ones on Amazon, but googling the make shows the NOCO GENIUS chargers consistently in the top 5 available in the UK.Been using it now for a few weeks and will recommend it to anyone.

Works well. Ideal for topping up battery during winter.

I purchased this for one of the work vans which isn't used often so the battery goes flat due to lack of use. The unit is well packed and seems well built, the I destruction many is some what basic and doesn't really tell you much about the unit. For instance what voltage each of the four indicator lights represent but other than that it's reasonable and basic. The charger charged a completely flat car battery to full charge without any issues. I believe the unit isn't designed to rapidly charge a battery so don't expect to connect it and charge the battery over night. As a trickle charger it's great. Can't go wrong for the price and build quality.

Battery totally flat.I'd bought one the previous. Didn't charge at all so I returned it.Bought this one and it took about 6 hours to fully. I've been checking the battery daily with my multimeter..Voltage is stable

This has been one of the best things I've bought recently. My car battery isn't in the best of shape and this charger has reconditioned it to be much more reliable than it was. Brilliant purchase and a great price too

Excellent trickle charger keeps battery maintained over long storage periods safely, and for the money there isn't much better out there

We use our second car for the school run, and that's literally it. As such, the battery runs down in no time, and I really didn't want another morning, late as usual, with an engine that won't turn over. After spending £150 on a new battery I bought the NOCO GENIUS2UK (only including the full product name because Amzn often includes reviews for other products in the supplier's range). Anyway, it's brilliant, and now I give my battery a full top up once every 2 weeks. It's easy to use, compact, and has little indicator lights to show how charged your battery is. Only complaint is that the mains cable is far too short, and an extension is pretty expensive. I have to chuck an extension cable out of my ground floor window to connect it from the driveway to the mains inside the house. It feels very well made, and the clamps are low profile, so with a bit of trial and error you can gently close the boot and leave it charging overnight.
