We had the same trouble that a lot of reviews say. One of the sensors was not working. We did the troubleshooting for the one sensor and then emailed them. The company got back to me really quickly, had me send pictures and walked me through what we did wrong. (VERY kind, quick response...within half an hour) It was as easy as having the net upside down and blocking the sensor. It is working perfectly now. Did seem to take a while to set up but l my three boys and I had fun doing it ourselves. Fun, entertaining and seems sturdy!

Love this game. It doesn't fit in our basement (ceiling too low) so I bought this outdoor model and keep it in the garage and wheel it out and play in the driveway. Love the different audio tracks and the battery life is great. Definitely sturdy enough for the outdoors, though I plan on covering it with a tarp if I ever need to leave it out in the elements. (It does run on electricity after all.) Had an issue building it, one of the screws was stripped. Then they sent the wrong replacement screw. (See photo) However, I got next day response to my emails and they shipped the parts quickly. The missing screw didn't really need to be tightened with a nut, so I just stuck it in place and could play right away. And now I have the proper screw so everything is fine. I was able to build it myself, with the "help" of my 8 year old. Do yourself a favor and watch the YouTube assembly video BEFORE you start putting it together! Bottom line. Product is sturdy, well built and tons of fun. My boys (8 and 10) love it. (We play "free play" and the first person to 50 points wins, as the timed games are a bit too hard for them.) Plus, my smart watch credits me with a "step" for every shot I attempt! Great way to get your exercise! BUY IT!

Update: we called up pop-a-shot to ask for help with our unit. They apologized, chocked it up to our being a rare lemon, and then sent us a new unit. We didn’t have to deal with returning the old one, we just donated it to a charity where someone will enjoy a rusty pop-a-shot with a scoreboard that shuts off sometimes. Upgraded from 2 stars to 4 stars for great customer service.The three pointers - pop-a-shot is fun!!! The games are great, and everyone can play!The jump balls- assembly wasn’t too difficult, but it could have been more clear. I made some small mistakes that were easy to fix. The game could also announce what each game is (1 is head to head, etc).The flagrant fouls- delivered quality is remarkably poor. This is supposed to be an outdoor set, so surface finish of the painted parts should be high quality. Instead, I found blistering paint with rust underneath (!!!), scratches from the factory (the number of the part was on top of the scratch!) and some bent tube openings that required I bend the metal a bit. I don’t hold out hope for this “outdoor” set to have a long life. Also, mysteriously, the game shuts down randomly. It’s brand new, just assembled and with new batteries. So there seems to be a loose connection on day one… all around, these things are disappointing. I’ll see if I can file a warranty claim, but returning the unit seems like a massive pain. I hope there are alternatives.
