I am 5 ft 1, and my husband shortened my cane by 1 inch. Just measure it against yourself and determine how it might comfortably rest at just about your waist.

This is the most sound cane I have ever had. It isn't particle board. Not only is it hard wood, it still remains smooth and beautiful, despite what I put it through. It is a an outstanding product.

The inside diameter of the crook is 3 3/8 inches.
