VELCRO 1806-OW-PB/B Black Nylon Onewrap Velcro Strap, Hook and Loop, 2" Wide, 10' Length

Can make my own Velcro straps and cut to size. Good and strong.

I use carbon fiber ankle-foot orthotics (AFOs), and for almost two years, I have faced the constant problem of the glued-on velrco that holds them in place coming loose from the brace itself. It was maddening - I resorted to using duct tape to hold them down in lieu of the glue, which worked for about 2 weeks. Then I had this epiphany that I could use this product to simply wrap the velcro completely around the brace, fix the velcro to itself, and hold the AFO in place without any adhesive at all. I cut a piece long enough to wrap around the entire brace with about four inches of overlap, and that was all it took. I've been using this fix for a few months now, and the velcro is as strong as ever, and I don't have to worry about the brace coming loose while I'm using it. So easy - wish I'd thought of it sooner! I know I'm not the only one who has this problem with their AFOs, so hopefully word will get out. THANK YOU!

I have one of those large and thick foam lilly pads for swimmers. The straps it came with were very poor.These Velcro straps are wide enough so that they don’t cut into the coiled up foam pad and provide a very secure connection for keeping the straps in place.Worked very well in this application.

Product suits my need for the Velcro. Hook and loop could be stronger though, but I had plenty and did a large overlap.

This Velcro was used to replace worn Velcro strips on the cover for my Weber cooker. It is much more substantial than the original, worn Velcro. It is also different in that there is a single strip - fuzzy on one side and grippy on the other side. It sewed easily using my sewing machine and regular thread. I sewed the new strips right over the original stitching and then trimmed away the old, unstitched, worn out lengths of Velcro.

I use this to replace the original straps on a Weber grill cover. This stuff sticks like iron. We will see how long it lasts, but so far it is performing extremely well.

This is not adhesive. This is nylon. The ashesion is very strong. I sewed it onto some old uniform shirts to cover up embroidery and to be able to use them at a new employer using velcro patches. I've also sewed a velcro patch on a jacket and had with it, as well as non velcro patches to be able to attach them. If you don't want sticky stuff on it and only want the nylon hook and loop - this is for you. Very satisfied.

This 'velcro tape' works great and adheres very well. Worked perfect for our application!
