I’m an aging athlete, 71, I lift weights for 4hrs without resting every other day, and what keeps me going is Super Foods. I’ve been using Milk Thistle for about 5yrs from different countries from all around the world and they’ve all been good (except for one) and this one is no exception. Whether in whole seed or powder form, I always pre-sprout it, which means soaking it in just enough water to cover it for 24hrs in a warm room, or in the oven with the light on. Then, I run it in a 3hp blender until it reaches 110 degrees with some Olive Oil, mineral and vitamin supplements and at the end, add a 34 strain probiotic from Garden of Life, then let it sit out again for another 24hrs. This cultured mash is super-nutrient dense and will contribute greatly to your energy, strength, stamina, and overall well being.The one brand that was awful was "Super Organics Milk Thistle Seed Powder | Raw Organic Superfood - Vegan, Gluten-Free & Non-GMO, 8 Oz." I wrote them a scathing Review. Their product had almost reached expiration, had no flavor (an indicator of nutrient density) and while using it I became very weak. Their price was also too high even for good quality, which theirs definitely was not.

This is an excellent product to help your body heal. It can help with normal body aches after exercising, cleaning the yard, car washing, etc.

While I’m fully aware these are not intended to be sprouted or grown as microgreens, people need to be aware that these seeds will not sprout. I’ve included a picture of a tray of these that’s been sitting for 6 days and even soaked for 4-6 hours beforehand. Not a single seed is viable. They claim these are “ Clean sourced, raw and unprocessed seeds with no added preservatives” which should imply they should also sprout, but they do not. Perhaps they heat treat them?? If so, that’s doing the nutritional value no favors! If they’re not heat treated, they’re treated with something worse. Either way, these aren’t “raw and unprocessed.” Buyer beware… What else aren’t they telling us? Hard pass.Included a photo of other micros we’re growing; We’re not new to this, but these are dead.

Love this plant, I eat it with my home made jogurt, very healthy. I have read many books about it and it can help you to recover your inner organs and your health. The seeds form is the most effective in comparison with tea or tablets.
