Great tool for children who have worries
A friend allowed me to gift them a parent and child pair of worry monsters as they were concerns about the child being upset about spending time with the non resident co-parent.Using the worry monster has been a great ritual to assure the child and also to get a glimpse into where issues may be coming from.In an age where Child mental health services are scarce, oversubscribed, underfunded and often offered too late or after a years long wait, this has worked as a tentative first step into helping the family in the meantime.
