We've used this product for years in our RV black tank and it works great! The bathroom is odor-free and we even use regular toilet paper and it degrades it every time. I'm not sure why other people have had problems, but when you put it in you do need to make sure and fill up the bowl with water and dissolve the packet before flushing it. The manufacturer recommends adding two gallons of water, but we usually just do one bowl. If you're going to buy the 50 pack and don't use them within a year or so, I do recommend storing them in a temperature-controlled environment or the packets can get really tough and hard to dissolve.

These work great in RV type septic, has nice odor control and break down of Biowaste in tank if allowed to set longer than a week.

I've tried several products on all of our 10 RVs rentals. It keeps odors under control to the point that there is no faul smell. Disolves easily and does its work nicely. Highly recommend it.

I am a trucker, and have a tiny on-board toilet for urine only - no toilet paper either (so I can't speak to the breakdown qualities of this product). It's mainly for emergencies, so I don't always fill it up very quickly. I've used a number of different toilet chemicals over the years, and Walex has consistently been the best one... however, even it stops working for odor by the third day. It sucks to have to empty the reservoir and put in a new puck every few days when the toilet was barely used, but I had tried so many with the same results that I figured that was just the way it was.Until the Mint. I got this a couple of weeks ago, and WOW! I was actually able to use the toilet until the reservoir was full (2.5 gallons) - which was about a week, maybe even a little bit more - and it continued to control the odor! I am SUPER happy with that! I can't even tell you how much this helps for my schedule.The only reasons for the 4 stars aren't exactly negatives, per se, but just the things keeping me from giving it 5:1) I wish they made this scent available in smaller packs. As it is, I know these packs aren't really meant for a 2.5 gallon toilet - but for an RV blackwater setup. So I think this huge pack is kind of overkill for my own needs. When I sit on my little toilet for all of 15 seconds to pee, it leaves a minty tingle on all my lady bits! So I really feel like I could personally do with a smaller packet.2) The color is probably highly staining. It is VERY blue. At least for the 2.5 gallon max I use it for. It is like pouring out ink into the toilet when I dump the contents. This hasn't been a problem for me so far, but I could see it easily being a problem for someone else.And that's it! This is a great choice if you don't otherwise have the need or the means to dump your system every few days, and need something that controls odor for longer. This does a great job!

We had issues with our trailer Black tank draining. All that came out was liquid, no solids.We added 2 packs and a gallon of water and let sit for four hours.it worked.So from now on after dumping the black tank we will add a pack and some water.
