First of all, the flavor of this candy is delicious, true Mexican candy taste. It is also kind of spicy. To me, it takes and it is spicy like the Pulparindo.The box comes with 5 individually wrapped pieces of the candy. You are supposed to warm up the candy in the microwave for easy spreading and wrapping.Each of the pieces of candy is supposed to wrap 2 apples. So, if you really wrap 10 apples, each apple would cost you around $1.00 to wrap plus the cost of the apples.I did not find the value of it. I personally think it is cheaper to buy the already made apples from someone that does this for a living and it will save you money and time.Not only do I not have to make them, I do not have to clean up, or go to the store for the apples.

Ok the directions say to microwave and then roll out to a big circle. Don't try this without putting it between 2 pieces of parchment or wax paper. I don't know that my counter or rolling pin would have been the same again. Also it will stain things red. It doesn't matter. It is so addictive. It took me all day to eat my 2/3 of the apple . It's not super spicy but the heat is there . If you like tart and sweet with a bit of spice with your fruit you will love this

Was very difficult to make the apples . Seemed as the product was old due that it did not have flexibility when trying to wrap the Apples.

1. It showed up hard as a rock, with edges harder than the center2. Even after microwaving for longer than directed, it was very hard and very dry, kinda seemed like it was crumbling3. Way too thick, couldn't roll it out4. When I did roll it out it got stuck to the cutting board or plate5. I tried to put it around the apple and it absolutely came nowhere close to staying on it6. I'm not sure what it was supposed to taste like, but it said it was a caramel coating. The taste was terrible,and the texture is like dried out play doughWorst part is there's no option for a return or refund. Garbage product, money going right into the trash. Couldn't find an expiration date or anything on it, but the box seemed worn down and floppy, crushed. Everything about this is a disappointment.
