Probably one of the easiest router jigs I've ever used its probably the easiest for a beginner to start with and a pro alike build quality is surprisingly sturdy and very hard wearing

Great product but not all for uk hinges
Using the product was easy and you get everything in the box. The router bit was a nice touch too the housing are all made from plastic so be careful when routing out. I would have given this 5 stars but I used this to route 3 inch hinges and found whilst the cut was beautiful it was too deep for uk hinges so had to make a small fence so as to not go so deep. Otherwise it’s a great product easy to use and perfect cut every time.

Doesn’t cut for standard depth uk hinges
Not designed for uk 3” hinges as it cuts to wide for hinge plate. I had to put an 8mm thick wooden packer in the jig to ensure it cut the correct depth for a 3 inch hinge plate - other than that it does work well and accurately cuts slot to take a hinge / make sure you do a test for your hinge first!!!

Does Not Cut to UK Sizes
As a Jig it is brilliant.As a Jig to cut UK size hinges - not so good.Depth of cut - extremely prcise - with the depth guages built inHight of the routed cut to fit the hight of the hinge - again extremely preciseBut - the width of the routing is 7mm too wide, leaving an unsightly gap at the back of the hinge.When you google it, a US hinge plate is much much wider than a UK (or European) hinge.If you have the ability, I had to make a 7mm shim to fit inside the slot, to make the cuts fit my hinges.Nice idea - very poor execution.
