Great keyboard for those with poor vision or night owls at a decent price!
I had one before and accidentally broke it by pulling on the cord too much. I love the yellow keys that make it easy to see in the dark. I am a night owl and couldn't see the keys on a normal keyboard and bought this so I could see the keys. I am glad I found a replacement for my old one as I was miserable with the normal keyboard working at night. It isn't the most expensive , best quality one but if you are just looking for a nice cheap keyboard for someone with low vision this will do just fine. The only downside is it is corded and not cordless so you just have to make sure you don't pull on the keyboard when you get up from your desk like I did. I wish they had a usb cordless version.update: It's only February and I bought it last May and it died on me last night. I know they have a bad reputation but I didn't think it would break that fast. I really like the yellow keys and hope they make one of better quality. I'm going to try a different brand now and see if I have better luck.

People with good eyes just don't seem to understand.
I've been using one of these for about 5 years. It is absolutely nothing special however when I look at the computer screen and then I look down to the keyboard the keyboard disappears in my vision. So this being bright helps me find the keyboard and the keys very quickly. Like I said it's nothing special and for people with really good Vision they just wouldn't understand. For me it has been the difference between keeping a job and trying to find something else. For the record this is my third keyboard in 5 years. And they work just great for me.

Good, but still a bit flawed.
Got this about a month ago. I like it, and won't return it, but one key (left arrow) was blank, and doesn't work at all. Also, the shift key is unreliable about working, so it's frustrating at times to expect an upper-case letter when lower case shows up, because the shift key didn't shift. I love the nice, big letters, and the fact that I can see the keys in dim light.

Loved it at first but......
I think I have had this keyboard for little more then a month. When I fist got it I loved it. I use it in the evening hooked to my laptop in a very dimly lit room. I have to say that it is VERY easy to use and see in those conditions. However,I bought it mostly because of the design and the fact that most of the letters on my laptop keyboard had rubbed off. This was not a cheap laptop, I payed close to $1500 for it and expected much better then I got. I am no touch typist so I must use the hunt and peck system. You can't hunt and peck if you have no letters. So here I am, a little more then 30 days after buying it and guess what? I already have three letters that are starting to rub off! It is for that reason that I cannot recommend this keyboard to anybody else. I've had computers and keyboards since the late 80's and before that a typewriter. Before the laptop, I had never had any keyboard lose letters. To buy an additional keyboard and have the same thing happen baffles me. When did keyboard makers cheapen the very thing that a keyboard is used for? The only advice I can offer is if you have this keyboard or plan to buy it, also buy some black thin sharpies. If you notice the letters disappearing trace over the letters with the sharpies and you may get some additional use out of it, at least more then 30 days anyway.PS. Let the sharpie ink thoroughly dry before use or you will have black smudges!Update Jan. 2013-I have junked this keyboard. It s***s. Letters are gone, keys are sticky.... just junk.

Long enough cord
In addition to having the yellow color keys I think these keys are a bit larger than other keyboards, easier to use. My main thing is when I ordered a couple of other similar keyboards I had no idea that their connection cords would be 4 to 5 inches shorter than my previous copy of this keyboard. Believe me an extra 5 inches makes a difference, with my particular setup. To tell the complete truth, the reason I replaced my old one was that the letters wore off some of the keys. I am not a touch typist but I remember where most of the keys are, but it was a bother. This one, I am writing on now, is perfect, for me.

Does what it is suppose to do
This is a great keyboard for those of us who need the extra large keys! Its a good price except when I first bought it, they were us $10...I guess everything goes up. I use the keyboard stickers now because I have a laptop, but if need a keyboard you can see, this would work well. You can plug it into your laptop as well.

Good for the eyes but slightly cheap in construction!
Pros - no problem at all seeing which letter is on which key - which is why I wanted it - I use keyboards in some darker rooms for my multimedia PCs and wanted to experiment with a high visibility keyboard.I've tried illuminated keyboards which, overall, I think are better generally for a darkened room, but don't work any better in a well illuminated area. But I've also had issues with the painted letters on many keyboards wearing off. So I thought I'd try this keyboard to see if the greater visibility due to higher contrast would work - and it did. I now have two of these keyboards I use on my office computers and I like the higher contrast on the keys - but -Cons1. The paint wears off on the most frequently used keys gradually - not a big drawback because the most frequently used keys are pretty much at your fingertips anyway or closely packed and the overall higher contrast on the rest of the keys does make the less often used keys easier to get right the first time.2. As received, both the keyboards I have of this brand had sticky keytops - the keys bound slightly when pressed as though they were rubbing on a higher friction surface. So I got out some vaseline and pulled off all the keytips and daubed a little bit of vaseline on the fingers that reatin the keytop and both keyboards worked a lot better afterwards. As I sadi, the two keyboards I use the most now are both this brand.Getting around con #2 was annoying and is the reason I didn't give this keyboard a 4 star rating. I think it's a reasonable value for the money and the much higher contrast keytops are doing what I need them to do - just wish they'd used a more durable way of marking the keys and that they'd lubed the keytops before the keyboard left the factory!!
