It's V.W T.D.I approved 50400/50700 low ash oil. It's affordable, especially if you get the three pack. My last 4 oil changes have been with this oil. So far it seems as good as any other I have used. If I was taking it to the dealer for oil changes I could have easily spent 500 bucks even with sales and coupons. Plus I don't have to wait for my car to be returned to me or come back the next day to pick it up. If your handy at all D.I.Y.
