Nearly as good as new. Why spend a thousand on a new phone?
Looking for a replacement for my ageing iPhone 6s Plus, I spent weeks considering my options and looking at reviews for refurbished (or as Amazon describes them, "renewed") iPhones.I considered buying a new iPhone 6e (about £600) or a refurbished iPhone 12 (about £330) and wanted a phone about the same size as my 6s Plus but decided on an 11 Pro Max.There are a number of sellers of refurbished phones around but I have always trusted Amazon. I felt that should the phone not meet the seller's description, Amazon would have no issue on having it returned.This iPhone 11 Pro Max was described as unlocked and excellent and my expectations were that there would be minor surface scratches and obvious signs of wear but after unboxing I was surprised at its condition. It was virtually unmarked and in pristine condition. It connected to my service provider and home wi-fi without issue, and the battery status was, as mentioned in the description, about 82% and, as I'm not a heavy user, this isn't a problem. The phone, backed up from my previous phone - an easy straight-forward process via my Apple account - performs and updates as expected, is responsive, with working face recognition and takes excellent photos and videos with any of its three rear cameras. But what surprised me most was its superb condition which I will preserve with a phone case and additional camera-lens protector, again bought from Amazon.For the £220 paid I am absolutely delighted with my purchase which was delivered a couple of days after ordering.If I get a couple of years' use from it I'll be more than happy. For me, money well spent and highly recommended.

Reall happy with my iPhone! And glad I chose this smelly. I had a bad experience with another seller, and received a faulty iPhone, so i wasn’t sure I wanted a phone from Amazon at all. However I am so glad I ordered from this seller. The phone came nicely packaged and phone was like a brand new one. All in immaculate condition with a high battery level. Great item and price!! Good but not Great
The phone itself was in amazing condition and the battery health was also above reasonable. The only problem I had was with the speaker which was quite muffled and distorted but I’m getting this issue fixed anyway. 8/10 So would (kind of) recommend

Faulty iPhone
I ordered the iPhone 11 Pro Max and have received it today.There are numerous issues with the phone and it will not function as it should.Issues:Charging, the phone was placed on charge and after 3 hours had only gained 2% additional charge starting at 41% taken of charge after 3 hours at 43%Charger and cable suppled in the box was usedThe charger was too hot to touch as was the USB end of the cable and had to be left to cool before unplugging completelyThe back of the phone was extremely hotMy old iPhone 11 was on charge side by side (for data transfer) and charger, cable and iPhone were all cool to the touch my phone went from 61% to fully charged in under an hour without any excessive heat build up in the phone, cable or chargerFront Camera IssueUnable to set up face recognitionNo screen image from frontUnkown part stated not recognised as genuineBatteryBattery part not recognised as genuineScreenScreen not recognised as genuineWould not transfer data from old phoneWould not verify update to latest iOS due to not being connected to the internet even though it wasReset the phone three times and started data transfer but failure to set up properly each timeWas able to partially set up manually which is when I discovered all the error messages in settingsI have since attempted one more setup which failed.I have purchased in good faith a phone in "EXCELLENT" condition and the phone does not work as it should.I want to return the phone and have a fully working error free replacement sent out to me please.I have activated the warranty as instructed and attached copies of the orderI have rang the contact number several times but no answer!
