The globe is made well and contains a lot of information. It's a good size, couldn't possibly be any smaller for all the text on it, but still looks very nice in the room.

My geographically-challenged wife LOVED this when I presented it to her on her birthday. It looks great in our family room. I highly recommend the large 16" size with the bas relief - much easier to read the place names and you get a much better sense of the different elevations. Money well spent.

this is a large and beautiful globe. It arrived so quickly and in perfect condition. I love how it is able to rotate more than the average globe. The colors are pleasing and the globe features details of many locations. I loved looking at the globe but unfortunately will likely be returning it. In some areas, the seams of the globe don't line up, causing the borders of countries to be distorted, or even obscuring the labels of locations. I really love everything about this globe otherwise, but don't feel comfortable keeping a globe that has borders that aren't lined up properly, especially since this globe is a lot of money! I have attached a picture for reference (look at the borders of Yemen and Somalia). I'm not sure if this is the case for all globes, but it was a disappointing dealbreaker for mine. It just seems that if I'm going to be putting in so much money, imperfections like these should be at minimum.

The media could not be loaded. Beautiful globe. Love the larger size at 16 in rather than 12 in. There is one place the seam doesn’t line up perfectly but still love this globe.
