Beautiful!!!
This has been a dream for 45 years. I played a friends Gibson hollow body when I was 16 (1978) and at the age of 61 the price is and has always been out of reach so I got a bit of a history lesson when researching the Epiphone. 1st The name has been around 150 years. 2nd Gibson bought Epiphone in 1957. 3rd Sheraton came out in 1959. After reading several good reviews and being at an affordable price, the only thing to say is Dream come true! I have been so impressed with the way it was packaged, it came a week earlier than stated and the quality is superb! Absolutely no regrets.

You Won't Regret It
This guitar is so playable and sounds as good as it looks, hence all the good reviews. I had a black and gold Gretsch G5422T Electromatic Hollowbody that I sold, as I just didn't care for it, and bought this to replace it. Great decision, as this beauty is so effortless to play. You'll have to replace the strings right away as your fingers will get black playing the ones that it comes with and saw some reviews mentioning this. Throw a new set of strings on this and adjust the action to your desire and you'll be amazed, especially for the price.

Still breaking it in, getting used to it, but really like the guitar
Always wanted a semi hollow. Already have a Gibson Les Paul.Beautiful design, quality pickups and guitar build. Action is great. Really like the flexibility to play both acoustic rock, rock, jazz and blues.

nice sound and action
would have given 5 stars however the pickup switcher is a little quirky and seems to get loose to easily..not a major issue. love the look and sound of this guitar, had to raise the bridge because it was too easy to bend the bottom e off the fretboard...

Sweet Sounding Rock and Roll Guitar.
I love this Guitar. It plays some awesome sounding chords. I got a case for it and then took it to Flores Music shop and had them do a set up on it. It plays really well. This was a good purchase for the money.

Top Shelf Guitar
This Sheraton Pro II guitar by Epiphone is truly a work of art in every sense. My wife saw the ebony one while online and showed it to me, we both agreed it was a beautiful instrument. I began the research as I always do when considering any music instrument. Checked the specs, features, and viewed several YouTube videos. The most interesting thing that I found in one video was that the Gibson name was stamped on the back of the pickups. Normally, that would mean that the pickups are BurstBuckers & not ProBuckers. My guitar does not sound like the 1 LP I own with Busters. (Anyhow, It was discovered during the complete tear down and testing of this Epiphone.) Okay, so based on everything I learned I decided to buy it and found out that they were selling out everywhere. Sweetwater said they would not be getting them again. So, I purchased the last one my local store had. (Amazon as you know has them & maybe direct from Epiphone?!) The guitar plays beautifully and feels great in the hands! I've played mine thru 5 amps, my pedal board, and the extremely versatile on-board electronics. I didn't find anything I can say negatively about it. No fret buzz, no hum, good action height, stays in tune, and mine weighs in at 9.6lbs. It sounds great playing rock, country, blues, funk, & metal. The ebony & gold with body & neck cream binding, Mother of Pearl & Abalone"V"; neck inlays, Tree of Life inlay on the large headstock, & the raised Epiphone "E" brand on the pick guard make this a uniquely beautiful instrument. You can feel and see the quality and I can't help but feel that the folks that made these guitars were taking a little bit of extra pride in their work. Check out everything about it online. It's also fun to note that in different lighting it takes on a deep, rich, burgundy color. If you want to buy one do it quickly because they are selling fast everywhere! I should also mention that the only case I could find for these guitars are the ones you'll find here on Amazon.

Damaged Pickup Mount
As shown in photo, a mount screw for one of the pickups had been pushed thru the plastic. Poor quality inspection.
