If there is one thing that Amazon got right, its selling various food items in bulk.Although, not much to say about the product itself except that it tastes good in various baked goodies but my friend is addicted to home made virgin egg nog, minus the the nog part because he can't drink alcohol since it doesn't mix well with his medications.I bought this a while back & there is still a half gallon of it left. I can't remember the unit price but I do recall that it was A LOT cheaper per ounce than to buy the usual small retail bottle which, even for the cheapest brand, was still a lot more per ounce than at my preferred retail food shopping center.Namely, Walmart. I will say that some people detest Walmart while I don't have an opinion either way except for the fact that the managers have not seen the merits of providing certain spices & flavorings on the shelves in bulk. Their bulk size offerings are of a really poor selection.So, yeah... If you REALLY need to save money & you use A LOT of vanilla, this is worth the price in the long run because its one less item that you will need to buy from the store for a while, thus lowering your grocery bill in the long run because vanilla flavoring is still far to expensive to buy those small bottles since there are only a few meager ounces per bottle. The one really good thing that I learned about Vanilla, is that it can be kept on the pantry shelf without the need for refrigeration for a long time unless you are a pro baker & even then, trying to save a little money per ounce, really goes a long way to your bottom line when selling your baked goods.

I bought this stuff in the summer and just opened it maybe a few weeks ago to start using it and it smelled funny but I just went ahead and baked bread pudding. It came out tasting/smelling so weird(plasticky smell) I had to throw out the whole batch. I don't know what is up with this stuff and the only thing I can think of is its BOTTLE. The plastic bottle. I brought this stuff outside of the US so I didn't even try contacting the seller but it is a huge waste of money and disappointment I had to leave a review here. So frustrated. Do not buy this.

Good products, delivered as promised!

My wife uses quite a lot of vanilla in our misc. morning breads- pancakes, waffles, etc. I got this as a surprise for her, and presented this along with a quart bottle of Almond extract to her as a simple gift. She smiled from ear to ear, we took quick photo and sent to our family of her holding up the two bottles and grinning.Priceless.Smells great.

The jug look somewhat smashed or squeezed together intentionally to make it look fuller. When opened, and air was let in, there is a lot less product than what appeared to be or what was supposed to be. I basically didn’t get a full jug of vanilla. I won’t buy this product again. As you can see in the second photo, no vanilla had been removed from the jug and it went down that much from just opening the cap. You will not get a full jug of vanilla if you buy this product. Disappointing!

We bulk bake as a community and needed bulk vanilla for the goods we were making. This vanilla had a great aroma and a great taste. It did a great job in our baked goods. We ended up purchasing additional containers.
