Excellent value for money. Easy to install and pack, holds so much stuff, folds away easily after use! We filled it with camping equipment, pillows and sleeping bags and drove 1700 mile round trip Europe. Encountered all weathers ( except snow) and it faired perfectly. No leaks and the straps stayed tight. We have no roof bars or racks so just used the 'through car' strap method but it held fine and wasn't in the way at all. The bag is thick and sturdy and did not feel at risk of tearing. The roof mat is excellent and definitely keeps everything nicely in place.

Used it couple of times now and this roof bag is just great. In terms of size it is much larger than a roof box, much cheaper than a roof box, much more flexible than a roof box in terms of what you can fill it with and much easier to store than a roof box. It is just what I needed. Great item. Very sturdy and easy to install. Once installed it just stays there. During 2 camping trips we travelled over 700miles motorways and country roads and nothing went wrong.Window strips are pretty short though so you might want to buy spare ones just in case. Having said that my car is quite big, Jeep Grand Cherokee. Highly recommended.

Product is of much higher quality than expected for the price - material is very thick and robust. The stiching and zips seem up to the task too and all zips and access points can be concealed with there being an overlap/flap which works very well.The only issue is if you dont have a roof rack or rails - our Audi S4 has rails but these are integrated and flush with the roof of the vehicle so you can't pass straps through them - and attach the straps inside the cars. The supplied straps are not long enough to pass round the roof back and clip together within the vehicle - even when the bag was empty they weren't long enough - and were short by a good 30-40cm. The vehicle isn't particularly wide so I'd imagine this would be an issue for most vehicles.Luckily, reading previous reviews, I knew about this limitation and had already purchased alternative straps (SafeStrap Ratchet Straps 4m) from Amazon. These are extremely good quality, long in length and very robust. We've been on several trips now using the bag and these straps and the bag hasn't moved an inch regardless or terrain or weather.All in all a great product and a much cheaper and easier alternative to roof bars and boxes - plus the bag can be folded down and easily stored unlike bulkier bars and boxes.Short straps are only drawback so I'd recommend ordering these at the same time.

This bag was well worth the money. We debated about getting this and we are so glad we did. I actually think these are more versatile and easier to use than a solid roof box. It is made of very good materials which are good and thick, the zip is excellent. It is completely waterproof as the zips are covered. I didnt use the additional straps that come with it as I dont like the idea of how they work, you have to pull down the door rubber slightly and put the attachments on, i dont like the idea of moving door seals/rubbers as they are there to stop water getting into the car. I fear using the straps provided rain water would get in the car whilst the bag is in use. So no big deal I just used my own straps that went round the rood rails. You can get so much in these, in my picture is the outward journey to our holiday, coming home i had even more in there. When you arrive at your destination you can take the bag off, it folds away nicely. So much quicker and easier than a traditional roof box. All round delighted with it.

Didn’t leak and we travelled in the rain. Didn’t budge on the roof and we had no roof rack. We have a Dacia Duster car so have a bar on the sides of the roof which may have helped but was very easy to install and increased so much space in the boot.

Really useful and hardy bag / packed loads of essential camping kit which left more space in the car for passengers and boot space. We put our folding camping kitchen/folding table and all bedding/inflatables on top and padded these around the harder items. Stayed in place for trip to France and back. We used the straps directly through the doors. This works but does make it quite noisy on the motorway and could potentially damage the door seals if used frequently this way. Also worth noting that you need to tuck and tie straps so that they don’t rattle and bounce when moving. Will probably add roof bars next time but still saves hundreds on a hard-top box (and fits more in). Everything stayed dry in the heavy rain. Would recommend.

I was struggling to find a cargo roof box to fit my car so decided to buy a bag instead. I was a bit dubious about how sturdy it would be and if it would be big enough at first but I didn't need to worry. This bag is fantastic. Really good quality and an excellent size. We fitted everything we needed to take for a family of 5 for a weeks stay in Cornwall. Another good thing about this bag is it can be stored away Really easily, mine fitted in and Aldi shopping bag and went in the loft....
