Star Wars Villain Craft 1 Vtroop Officer, Blue

While the scenes featuring the "Snowspeeder" were ultimately cut from The Force Awakens, it's become one of the highlight toys from the film as far as I'm concerned.Unlike the TIE Fighter, or X-Wing, the Speeder is actually a hefty size for the price point, and actually appears to be to-scale. It features tons of fine details like tread plating on the floor pans, and the cargo boxes look like separate pieces (they're not, but they sure look it, which is nice and looks good). The vehicle's scale though, is truly what impressed me. And I could see these being a vehicle in an Original Trilogy scene with all your Imperial figures, not just your First Order guys. It really basically just looks like a Speeder Jeep of sorts, and not necessarily a "snow vehicle". Just a Speeder Jeep. A Speep. :)With that in mind I think a savvy customizer could make quite a few deco variations out of them for various scenes!Little details like the separately sculpted rails give this toy added depth and realism. Feel free to hang some trooper backpacks off those as stowage, maybe a rolled up "tent" or ammo cans? It leaves a lot of customizing/detailing options and isn't the norm with Hasbro as I'd have normally expected those rails to just be part of the base toy's sculpt with no elevation/3-Dimension to them.The deco is plain, but accurate... Not a lot of weathering, but that's typical of Hasbro these days. The figure is a nice way to get a troop builder, especially if you like the 5POA figures. I'm not a fan so he went into my customizing bin. I moved his pauldron over to a Wal-Mart First Order Stormtrooper though, so I had a nice crisp, articulated officer in my ranks.The only negative I can throw at it is the dismal cannon... I really would've liked an option here, like the Legacy Collection Snowspeeder. That included accurate/detailed guns and then big spring loaded guns that looked goofy. Obviously as an adult collector, the oversized goofy looking cannon goes into the fodder pile for me. It's a gimmick kids like though, so I totally get why it's there. I just wish there was a non-gimmick heavy cannon included by Hasbro, for us "big kids".That's a small gripe on an otherwise actually flawless vehicle. They don't make many like that anymore from Hasbro, as they're often way underscaled, and have many other flaws. The Snowspeeder from TFA is not one of those missteps though, and worthy of a purchase or three!

The First Order Snow Speeder comes with a First Order Snow Trooper Commander figure. A great plus for collectors like me is, the box art is just beautiful. On both the figure & the speeder, the paint apps were nice & sharp on both the vehicle & the action figure. First the figure: The Snow Trooper commander has 5 POA (points of articulation). This really is a non-issue IMHO. The arms, legs & head move. The helmet is non-removable. The Snow Trooper can easily sit & hold the steering yoke. He can just as easily stand & hold the cannon. Also, he can perfectly hold the blaster rifle he comes with - which has great paint apps as well.The Snow Speeder needs a little bit of assembling, as well as, the mounted cannon. Parents may have to help the little ones but, it's not hard. There is enough room in the snow speeder for 2 figures to sit or for one to sit & the other to stand. The cannon is a fun play feature. The firing missile travels a log way. On the underside of the speeder is a little strut that comes down so, the speeder won't fall over when set on a surface.All in all, it's a really excellent vehicle. Amazon shipped it quickly & that beautiful box wasn't damaged.

This is a neat snow speeder. Any Star Wars fan would love this toy. Our son thinks it's awesome. Neat features, too.

Meh nothing special, side gun is kinda flimsy but overall decent.

My son really loved the figure that came with this. He knows every single thing about every detail of the storm troopers and their colors, weapons, accessories, etc. He really wanted this one and loves playing with it. He just turned nine.
