Fitted to the doors of my Vauxhall Crossland, the edging followed the contours of the doors easily. It is important to make accurate measurements, and then remove the first metal segment from each end to make a flush fit. I am delighted with the protection it offers, and the way it blends nicely with the colour scheme. I cannot yet comment on the longevity of its protection, because I have only had it fitted for a month or so. Well worth the money though!.

The edging is sturdier and more attractive than the one I had orginally on the car doors. With the sturdiness comes more difficulty cutting it, and also more difficulty putting it on the doors. Use a sharp scissors and a rubber mallet.

Bought this to protect the doors on my (new to me) car. Within 24 hrs my husband had clunked the door twice against a wall. Door edge was nicely protected. Super easy to fit. One roll did all 4 doors and along the boot of my Vitara. Ordered for husband now.

Ease of use and unbelievably problem free after installation on the doors, bonnet, and boot edges! Prior to this, I had bought some USELESS stick on door edge protector which all fell off!

Unfortunately having applied to car doors the car locking system failed. Presumably the doors either didn't shut properly or the trim interfered with inbuilt sensors for automatic locking. Had to remove the trim. I expect we will find another use for the product as in itself it was a good trim. Car was quite upset for quite a while but finally seemed to adapt back to security system!
