For the price, buy it.
Anyone that has any relative experience with steel and knives themselves would know with this being MT-665 that it will be easy to care for. Nothing wrong with this karambit itself. Its a fantastic blade and will do exactly what its meant too. Its designed for your safety and knowing how to use this style of blade for self defense is the key to it. Yes I'm sure there are some that are flawed. There will be lemons from any manufacturer. This one is not. The grind is perfect. Fits my hand perfect. The retention ring is bigger so I can use it with gloves. The grind is pretty good for a $13 blade. It wasn't as sharp as I prefer upon arrival. But 3 strokes, both sides on my puck made it shave hair. I will agree the sheath is not set up for carry the way I prefer and its not the best sheath in the world. But it does lock the blade in nice and snug. I know if I was fighting for my life or hitting the thicket I wouldn't be concerned about it falling out or getting snagged on brush. So I used the belt clip from my fiances CRKT minimalist cleaver witch fit perfect and gave me the carry I was looking for. I would recommend this karambit for any beginner or even a novice. Mtech doesn't make bad products. Yes, their products are produced in China but so is everything else in our homes. I have a folding pocket knife my fiance now got me from Mtech. I EDC that knife for 6 years! And used it for things I'd never dream of using my Benchmade for. And its one of the best knives I have. And it will still shave hair. And is just as solid as my Benchmade. And I wouldn't be sad one bit if I just had that Mtech and the clothes on my back and got lost in BFE. Nothing wrong with Mtech guys. God bless you all.

Function
Its an EDC Karambit. For under $20Solid steel. Came with a sharp point and edge. The sheath makes it worth it.Very solid construction all the way around! 10/10 would buy again, and I bought 2!(1 for edc and one for my bugout bag)The blade could use some fine honing, but honestly, it comes more than sharp enough to slice paper cleanly out of the box.If you are dissuaded by the cheap price, dont be.This is a quality blade💯

Lives in my work bag.
This lives in my work bag and I haven't had to use it for anything other than an Amazon package opener but so far it's pretty good.

Love it!
All my guys consider this their favorite knife. Literally carry it every time they get dressed for anything out of bed. Sharp, convenient, effective, functional! Highly recommend this knife from knife lovers!

Dangerous sheath.
I’ll start by saying the low marks are for the sheath, not so much for the knife. The knife seems ok although I doubt it is made of really great metal. I bought it as a tool and plan to use it as such. The sheath is DANGEROUS! Poorly made and even more poorly assembled. Mine allowed the knife to fall out on the second day that I used it and I almost got stabbed in the kidney when the knife dropped out right as I sat down! Luckily it didn’t penetrate my skin. If you buy this knife be sure to check the cheap (too short) rivets that hold the sheath together!!! I replaced the rivets with small loctited screws and washers.

Great!!!
Good product. Caried a pair of these daily for couple of winters. More than good enough to do the intended job and highly highly recommended.Remember these are self defense tools. They are not carried to brag about or demonstrate wealth. For that these are great. Sheath good, but could use a better attachment system to belt. I carry a pair in the small of back carry, one right and one left. Works. Also with the 3.5 inch blade length legal in most places stateside. Can't say enough good on these.

Best value for price range
Very sturdy and well built, the steel is 440 but it's 20 dollars so it's whatever. Blade length is about 3.5" with a straight edge ruler, tape measure could yield different results. The sheath is pretty great, no complaints thus far! For the price it destroys United Cutlery and other budget karambits, and unless you are willing to pay upwards of 200 for an Emerson wave karambit a fixed blade is just about the only practical karambit you can get. Excellent value.
