Q: Is a wick included with this product? If not, what type does it use? Round or flat?

Wicks are not included and they use round ones. Also, I tried using lamp oil in it at first and the flame was way too high so then I tried the traditional olive oil and it worked great.

Q: Are the insides of these lamps sealed?

I don't think so ... I painted the inside of mine with black acrylic paint so it would look better and the oil was fine with the paint.

Q: Oil leaks from the wick opening. then the entire outside and glass plate is covered/filled with oil. unless there's a solution, i need to return.help?

There are two reasons this may happen. 1) the capillary effect may bring more oil up then the flame will burn. The excess usually drops back into the Container to be pulled again at a later time. 2) you overfilled the bowl or your Wick is too big. Either of these could also cause an overflow. Remember also that these are made of clay and not considered liquid proof. You may have to put a small plate underneath them to keep them from leaking all over your table or whatever.

Q: can the outside be glazed and then kiln fired by customer after buying?

The description says they are already glazed to prevent seepage. The one I got did not seep oil.
