Skeptical at first...
But these work great (I have the "circular" ones...not the "snail" ones). I've used other excellent guyline tensioning systems, but they tend to be more complicated and require a good understanding of how they work (Nite Ize Figure 9 are great, but not intuitive). These are as simple as it gets, and they are surprisingly secure.I also like that they're aluminum instead of plastic (no embrittlement in freezing weather), small, lightweight, and cheap. I'm using these with high visibility/reflective 1.8mm 95lb paracord. It still holds strong even with this fine/thin cord.I love knots, rope, cordage, and webbing, but my partner needs something intuitive and easy to figure out without much effort. These are intuitive, easy, and fast.I'll probably still carry a few Figure 9s because they feel a little more secure, but there isn't any real reason for me to be concerned so far.

Super Sturdy
These line adjusters are exactly what I needed to make a few guy lines to keep with my travel tarp. They are very sturdy. I even placed one on some concrete and stood on it to see how durable it was. Other than a few scratches from where it was in contact with the concrete it was unscathed and still usable.

These work great
I bought these to add some tie downs to my turkey blind. They work pretty well, but the do give some slack on occasion. They have stood up to 60 MPH winds and have held the blind in place thou.Would definitely recommend if you are looking to buy tensioners.

Much easier than tying a knot every time you want a guy line on a tarp, tent or canopy..
I just started learning different knots since I plan on camping more often. I had ordered these Satinior tensioners but hadn't received them before my camping trip, so I had to use some of the different knots i learned to baton down my camp. I used the taught line hitch for guy lines on my tent and tarp. And I have to say, they work fantastic. After returning home, I decided I didn't need these tensioners. The next day I was going to send them back for a refund. But, I thought I would try these tensioners out just to see how well they work. And again, I have to say, they work fantastic. The taught line hitch definitely does the trick, so if you learn knot tying, and you don't mind taking the time to tie each knot, you don't really need tensioners. But these tensioners are so quick and easy to use, and I can just leave them on my guy lines. So, since you can't beat these Satinior tensioners for how quick, and easy they are to use, I'm keeping them.

Look strong
I never used them. Wind caught my tent in the evening during a storm before being able to use them. I can say they look and feel very string and if they truly secure the rope in tying down a tent, they would be worth the cost.
