Excellent and convenient dairy substitute!
I absolutely LOVE this stuff. I had read all the negative reviews before I purchased, and while one in particular about being on-brand but not on-taste really made me question my purchase, I'm so glad I went for it. I decided to go with JOI because I moved to an area where allergy-friendly/modern dairy-free options were either insanely priced or just not available at the local grocers. Buying my Elmhurst cashew/almond milk from Amazon was unpredictable because sometimes they have it, and sometimes they don't. When they do, it's pretty pricey ($9 for 48oz). I gave this a go and honestly, it WAS a fail at first, because I tried shaking it to mix instead of using a blender. I gave it a try again with the blender and it made a HUGE difference. I use 6c water to 3/4c JOI. It's creamy, delicious, and one of the best replacements I've tasted. No overly-sweet or playdough-y taste, texture is similar to 2% milk, no weird fillers, and a long shelflife without having to be in the fridge prior to mixing. I bought some carafes which hold about a week's worth (https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B07ZJS72L2/ref=ppx_yo_dt_b_asin_title_o02_s00?ie=UTF8&psc=1), and it has worked out beautifully. I use this cashew milk for things I would use milk in, prior to my dairy allergy- cereal, with dessert, in pancake mixes, etc.

Delicious
The hunger is a doing, so "who needs doing" Kuucoo incredible cashew milk universal time. Yummy yummy with great cheaply added diversity. Very fulfilling Indeedy with fortuitous work savers and water slightly less than the others. The blender too a cheap thrill making a thrilling concoction. Well swirl and spit cheap it is a happening too, for thrilling eyes and ears mixing in time. Breathing cashew scent immunity spirit poor dairy cow. Well so much for nutty critic's time for savory Joi Cashew Milk Base...

Its milk paste
The product works as advertised. I recommend using a strong blender to do the mixing for best results. Being able to mix it heavy or thin is nice depending on my needs. Takes up less space in the pantry than boxed milk. should be shelf stable for a long time but I use it every day so that's not a worry of mine. Works in coffee, smoothies, pore over cereal, even soup or just enjoy a cool glass. Being someone who has a limited diet I have to get creative with alterative foods; this milk paste is in my tool box right next to powdered coconut milk as a go to sub for milk and creams when cooking. I will warn you this stuff is a blank slate cashew product no sugar no salt be prepared for that, but that also makes it awesome because it can be sweet or savory by adding what you like.

Useful and convenient
JOI cashew milk concentrate makes a wonderful addition to smoothies, hot cocoa and coffee. It didn't work out for making cashew milk yogurt. Tried several different concentrations but the yogurt kept separating. Didn't want to add additives. However, we love the convenience and usefulness of having a bucket of JOI in our pantry.

Taste like elephant poop smells
I stupidly bought this huge tub. First of all, they say you do not have to refrigerate it after opening. But nuts go rancid pretty quick, so you probably should. Second, I expected a white powder, but this was a brown paste. Which was still fine, after I put it in the Vitamix it was creamy and fine. But third, the taste of this product is not great. I summed it up as tasting like elephant poop smells, but I think it is how cashews naturally taste. But now I am in a situation where I have a huge tub and do not like the taste. Do I just suck it up and not enJOI my tea foe the next 4 months???

Beaton the market
There is no cashew milk as good as joy believe me are tested them all. I’ve been using this exclusively over any other nut milk for a few years now. It makes it easy and the shelf life is really really long

Too watery for lactose intolerant toddler
We bought this in order to have a supply of milk our lactose-intolerant toddler could drink. He drinks unsweetened almond or cashew milk from the store, but we wanted something in our pantry in case, God forbid, there are food shortages/ supply chain issues in the future with milk alternatives. True lactose free toddler formula is very expensive and currently in short supply. So we decided to try Joi cashew paste. It tastes like cashews, I don’t taste anything chemical in it as another reviewer mentioned. However, it is just a nut butter you add water to. It separates in the fridge if you make more than what you’ll consume at the moment and must be stirred every time. It is grimy and watery at the same time. I started making it 1 tbsp to 1 cup of water and it’s too watery. Even at 2 tbsp to 1 cup of water, it’s still pretty thin but closer to milk. My toddler won’t drink it at all at either concentration. I can’t make it thicker for him because the resulting mixture would have too much protein in it, but then I can’t guarantee he’d drink it anyway because it may just be the taste. I decided I will drink it so as not to waste it, but at 2 tbsp to 1 cup water, the savings are out the window. We won’t be buying this again.

Delicious and low-waste plant milk
I discovered Joi as a way to avoid creating so much shipping and packaging waste from consumption of plant milk. Each gallon bucket of cashew Joi makes the equivalent of 40-50 half gallon cartons of store-bought milk. This saves me trips to the grocery store and reduces the amount of garbage and fuel consumption. The cashew concentrate is sort-of like a creamier cashew butter, and it makes delicious plant milk. I also use it to thicken soups and in smoothies. Highly recommended.
