Excellent Dried Chanterelle Mushrooms
When I lived in Washington State, I picked Chanterelle Mushrooms almost every weekend in the fall. I sold 3/4 of them, and ate the rest. We would come down from the mountain with 5 gallon buckets. They are so delicious. I introduced these mushrooms to my husband and found out he knew them from his childhood in Germany. So, when I saw these online, I knew I had to try them. And I am not disappointed at all. They are fabulous!! I put a little water with them, nuke them for about 30 seconds, let them cool, they rinsed them with clean water and sauteed them in butter. Yummy, they were really great. I hope you keep them in stock. It's sure cheaper to purchase them from you than to buy a plane ticket to the west coast.

These do not rehydrate well at all
I bought a large quantity of these and they unfortunately do not rehydrate well at all. The stems are like chewing on cardboard and the tops only slightly better. They seriously lack flavor and are not my experience of Chantrells. Also, I know it's tough however there was so much dirt in them that even when they soaked and rinsed for a nice long time, I still got quite a bit of grit in each bite. I can honestly say I've never had a dehydrated mushroom that didn't really rehydrate and wow me with taste so I was definitely disappointed. I don't recommend these.

ok, but could be better
these are of unknown color chanterelles, and are dried to such an extent that they do not ever reconstitute. I have tried boiling, steeping, and slow cooking with them, and they are still inedible texture wise. they do impart chanterelle flavor though. Maybe if you grind them to a powder with a food processor before using, that might be a better use for these. Buti had no luck with cutting them up or leaving whole, no matter how long i cooked or soaked them.

Intense mushroom flavor, yum!
Always a fan of rich, intense flavored mushroom! We used a little of these mushroom, soaked in water overnight, washed carefully and made a creamy mushroom soup with it - So much fragrance from so little mushroom! May have a little smell when you first take out from the bag, but after soaking and cooking the smell of dried food will be gone. A little expensive but worth the premium grade. It’s easy to store with the bag it comes with too.

Threw them away
I’ve used dry mushrooms plenty of times, and these were just plain awful. Absolutely would not soften up, even after extensive soaking. They were completely inedible. Inexplicably woody and rubbery at the same time. Could barely cut them with a knife, much less eat them. Ended up throwing them away and had to run out to purchase other mushrooms last minute for the dish I was making.
