Good product
I just returned do to I ordered the wrong size. But the are well made and work well.

didn't work
I replaced a aquasana pipe that broke while changing the water filter. I used this with a threaded 3 inch pipe on both ends, also on Amazon. Unfortunately it was leaking out the threads, I used teflon tape, I thought I was generous with it, but it was leaking in a couple of days. I ended up switching it out with a pex system and a shut off valve, and that seemed to work.

o ring
There is a o ring inside and if you are not careful during disconnect the o ring might came off. It happened to me when I didn't realize why it keep leaking.

Hard to find plumbing part
This heavy duty plastic union was impossible to find at my local hardware store or at Home Depot - but Amazon had it. Perfect product, well made - my automatic sprinkling system project went together with these unions easily and allowed for future replacement because of the threaded components. No leaks!
