Q: Is this carcinogenic as it contains Polysorbates? What is the level of dioxane in this product?

I don’t know the answer to your question. I stopped using the product because I believe it dissolved the glue on my masks and caused them to fall apart. Now I use a soap for baby bottles that I bought from Walmart, Dapple Baby bottle and dish soap.

Q: Is this product only one step in the cleaning process? Can I clean my mask and hose with this soap and it be enough?

This product and water is all you need to clean your mask and hose. Just follow the directions on the bottle. It does a great job.

Q: Is this solution just a prewash, or can you use it regularly to clean your cpap equipment you are using nightly?

You can use it everyday. It’s mild enough and no scent at all

Q: Why can't I use this product on the headgear that has elastic?

You are supposed to remove the elastic straps before washing the mask. Any cleaning chemical has the potential too degrade the elastic rubber.
