Just buy it. It's worth it.
Great net. Easy to put together. Lacing the net is really not as bad as some other reviewers make it out to be. You won't need much patience to get it done. The metal tubing frame feels heavy duty.I spent a lot of time looking for a net. I decided on this one because it folds up. It's an awesome feature that makes my life easier. It functions well. It's got good weight to it as well. Plus it looks just like an NHL regulation net. Imo this is as close as you're going to get to a street net that's similar in quality to an ice hockey net.Just buy it. It's worth it.

Great Goal For The Price!
This a great goal for the price! It did take some time to lace the net through and get it all put together but it just has a much sturdier feel to it than using an type of PVC piping. It's held up well to the weather so far but I do try and bring it in when I'm home and we get any rain. The fact that it folds up and can be moved easily is such a big added bonus! My son and I love it and have enjoyed driveway hockey bonding time!

Good heavy pipes
Solid pipe good thickness. Good heavy netting a solid hockey net.

Solid Net with Real Puck Use
Nice, and sturdy net but it’ll start to show signs of wear relatively soon, which is probably to be suspected when shooting at it with real pucks

easy to assemble
Heavy duty, well built, easy to assemble, and otherwise awesome. I love this net.It took me about 15 minutes to get the frame together without and tools other than the included allen key for the bolts at the bottom posts where the lower part folds. Otherwise, all the other joints click together with spring-loaded buttons that fit into pre-drilled holes. Stringing the net took about an hour, but was straightforward and easy. The instructions aren't super specific, but I'd done this before and knew that the most important thing is to string once per hole in the perimeter of the net. The welded metal lacing bar doesn't line up perfectly with each net hole, so some of the metal holes get strung twice, and some get strung only once. You just have to make sure you aren't bunching the net up, and you're keeping the lacing string taught. Piece of cake with a bit of patience.Depending on what you're shooting and how hard the shot is, realize that the posts can dent. It holds up perfectly to street hockey balls, but I almost immediately made a very small dent with a direct hit to the back vertical bar with a roller hockey puck. I'm an adult with an 80mph slap shot, for what it's worth. I don't think shooting real ice pucks at that speed would be a great idea, but for casual shooting or shinny, this goal is just fine.

Amazing hockey net!
Easy to assemble by yourself. I did get a little help myself from my child but mostly to grab things for me or help move, adjust and hold. Building the frame of the net was the easiest and fastest. Threading the net is what took the longest but still simple enough even with the minimal instructions it came with. Took about an hour to put together. Just make sure to take your time for best results. Came with corner nets that you can put on or have off. This a foldable net for easy storage. Heavy duty but easy enough to move around where you want it. Time will tell how it holds up. My 9 yr old loves it. A great first hockey net.

1 step below ice hockey goal
If this net doesn't meet your needs, then you need an authentic ice hockey goal. I've owned this for around 5 years now, and it has seen many thousands of shots. There are a few minor dents in the tubing, almost all on the thinner back center brace. But nothing bad that affects the performance of the bar. And the red part of the frame is basically dent free. The black marks are just rubber transfer. The netting itself is also still in perfect condition. If you were playing in a mens league or something, and they only had 1 official ice hockey goal, but had one of these... most people there would probably be fine with using this for the game. The only issue might be that it's noticeably lighter, so the pegs would need to be set well... and it's designed to fold up for travel, so if a couple players crashed onto the net, it MAY collapse? Admitedly, I don't have a blistering shot, although my older son does shoot much harder now. And if you're going to be cranking 100+ mhp shots at this, it may dent worse than mine, and not last you 5+ years. But it may last you that long. I don't know what it's limit is, because I've never really come close to breaking it.

Excellent net for the price
When the rinks closed, we took our game back outdoors and I needed a net. I found this online and the reviews looked solid so I made the purchase and I'm glad I did. Outstanding net; especially for the price point. A few things to note - overall assembly was not difficult but threading the net does take a bit of time so don't be in a rush. Even without folding the net, one person can easily carry it due to it's light weight. I've used the net about 10 times since the purchase with no issues and this includes hitting the pipe with predominantly IDS pucks as well as other assorted outdoor roller pucks. The average shot speed of the guys hitting the pipe is about 70-90 mph and no denting of the posts occurred. While I do think you can use this net with an ice hockey puck, you may run into a small dent in the metal if you get ahold of a shot but I don't know that for sure. I would definitely recommend the net.
