Wonderful experience and markers!
Packing: I could tell as I opened the box that the case wouldn't be cracked. Just because of the kind of bubblewrap the seller used around the smaller, more standard kind. So I guess for these 72 packs, whether or not it cracks really just depends on what kind of packing inventory each individual seller uses. Having read all the reviews of these things, I'd already made my peace with there being cracks so I wouldn't be disappointed, and in this case, was pleasantly surprised instead.Shipping: Even taking time zones into consideration, I'm fairly certain my package somehow got from a port in Korea to a hub in Kentucky in like 12 hours, without any expedited shipping payment on my part. And then from there, it got to my state and my house quickly too. My other 72-marker sets, coming from other sellers, weren't QUITE as quick to ship, but I guess all these exporters take their shipping very seriously, which is very satisfying.Marker Condition: No issues, no leaking, no dry markers, etc. Package was brand new, markers swatched beautifully, blended well. Feathered on sketch paper, didn't feather on smooth paper, bled through non-marker paper, etc. etc. Typical alcohol marker business. Nothing surprising for the medium.72 Set C: If you were to just get one set, this would probably be the set to get specifically for landscape work. With all the greens, blue-greens, earths, and greys included in Set C, there's probably not a bit of rock, earth, or greenery you couldn't figure out, supplemented with all the reds and red-violets that you could use to warm up the shadows. Only thing is that you'd struggle to get a blue sky into your landscape because there's a set of blues in here but nothing very dark or very light. Wonderful set, but probably needs to be used in conjunction with other sets if you're into something other than landscape.

From a Copic marker user
This was the first formal set of Copic markers I have ever bought, in the past I would peruse the marker display at the local hobby shop and I would buy them individually, and I now believe this is a much better value to buy these in a set. I highly recommend Copic markers for illustration, the blendability and color selection is second to none--though these markers will behave differently on different types of paper. I have tried everything from printer paper to Arches heavy watercolor paper and you will simply have to test to see what paper will give you the best effect for your work, especially when dealing with the colorless blender, which is included in this set. There are two Set C 72 piece marker sets on Amazon, the 'standard' markers in this set are bigger than the popular oval 'sketch' markers more often seen, and they do not come with the super brush tip like the smaller oval shaped sketch markers do. This set comes with a chisel tip end and a fine brush nib end, all of which can be replaced if they ever wear out, the replacement nibs are all sold separately. Noting those differences in size and nibs, if you want to buy this set, keep buying the same type of markers (square standard size), if you don't, you will find that you'll have doubles of some colors, these sets aren't all arranged the same between the square standard and oval sketch markers. And don't forget too, that all Copic markers can be refilled over and over again. This is a worthwhile investment in my opinion, for anyone who wants a great way to explore the various realms of illustration and design.

Expensive But Worth Every Dime.
I already had the 72 sets A, B, D, E. and finally bought the C set, which means I have all of the colors in the Sketch markers. These are the most wonderful pens/markers I've ever used. The sketch markers have a nib on one side that make them feel like you are using a paint brush and paint. You have to choose the correct color, apply the correct pressure and adjustr each stroke according to what the picture needs. Copic markers are a lifetime purchase. They have a refill system, which costs approximately $6 for each color. These refills last 6 times. The only other wear item is the nib, which you can purchase 6 or 7 in a pack. I've used my Copic almost daily for over a year. I've had to refill about 15 colors during that year.

Love COPIC markers
I bought all the sets.Pros: COPIC Markers are great to use. Easy to hold and colors are great. I bought sets Basic, A,B, C, D, E to get all the colors they offer.Cons: So the sets were cheaper then buying big store there is a problem of getting 73 duplicate markers to get all the colors. With that 73 I have two shading markers, 3 blacks, and the rest are 2 of each color. Since you can refill them I don’t need extra. I was going to try and sell those but decided that if I want to take COPIC Markers on a mini vacation with me I can take the 72 extra and leave the others home. There is a pretty good range in those extra 72. I also can change the nibs if I want too.Even though that were very expensive they are still cheaper then buying other places

Case will break in shipping
Great product but packaged horribly so rigid plastic case will likely be broken on receipt. Amazon was great and gave a credit in the amount it took to buy a cloth storage case...but honestly, it's disheartening to receive such a high end product that was packed with literally no understanding of shipping stress.

The best there is - and you pay for it
Anyone who has any familiarity with alcohol markers know Copic. They are the brand everyone wants. They are the brand everyone imitates. They are the performance everyone craves. These markers are the real deal, and they come exactly as shown. You are getting EXACTLY what you wanted, and paid for.But oh boy, do you ever pay.

Don’t buy
Not sure if it was just this group or not but a lot of these markers dried out very quickly and the inside caps were cracked
