Learning About Nature is Fun!
So cute, and very nice quality! I purchased this (and a "I am a Bee" book) for a young friend's Easter basket. The book is educational, in easy-to-understand terms, and the illustrations are outstanding. I'm delighted with my purchase!

This has become the kids favorite book!
They love to have this read to them, and listen intently as I read it. Their favorite part is at the end where there is a "quiz" They take turns answering the questions and then we go over the definitions and I ask them questions about those to. Very educational and a fun read too! ages 3 and 6

Good book
Good story telling about the honey bees. It tells the job of the queen bees drone and worker it gives basic information at a level the child will understand, tells what pollen and nectar are how the bee caries them and how some drop while he is flying back to hive and pollinates other plants. Mind you this is all written at a child’s level and it is not in-depth. But for toddler and pre and school age child I think it would be good

Each page has a clear simple message.
I like that there is one clear pinpoint about honeybees on each page. This will be a great book in our first grade classroom. There is plenty of room for children to think and come up with their own questions. THe writing is simple with plenty of information, so it does not overwhelm yet is a good teaching resource. The illustrations are descriptive in themselves. For example, the magnified honeycomb shape leaves clearly shows the hexagonal shapes, which is always something I love sharing. Great book for the classroom.

Solid kids book
Cute and educational, read with my preschoolers and both enjoyed and we're engaged. Explains pollination simply enough without running it down.

HOW CUTE!
This book was adorable and informative. It held my 3 year Olds attention and helped to give her a deeper appreciation, and less fear, of bees. There was enough information and plenty of words that could be used as vocabulary words for older kids as well.
