Was water proof. I liked the texture of the product. Quality of construction was very good. No loose threads or missed stitches. Washed and dried beautifully. Very little shrinkage. Have purchased this brand before for another bed. The elastic band around the protector worked very well and additional straps to keep it on were unnecessary.

UPDATE: King size nicely fit my couch, waterproof and keeps the couch clean from the dogs. Wash, dry, replace.Anyone who has dogs beds feels the pain of taking off the cover, washing and drying it, keeping the dogs off the insert until you wrestle to get the clean cover back on. I got REAL tired of it and if something wet happens, the insert is ruined.These dog beds are new and after washing the covers twice already I thought of this. A water proof mattress cover. I have big dogs, big beds so the crib size didn't work, the twin did. And I love the choice of colors and the texture of this brand.Last week one of my dogs threw up on the dog bed. I just took this cover off and replaced it in a couple of minutes with a clean one and washed the dirty one. Clean dog bed immediatly. At first I thought I would need a sheet too but these are so pretty I don't.It was a lot of trial and error to find exactly what I had in mind and this was my answer. Good quality, I like the texture, the fitted corners keep them in place, it's easy to put on and there are a lot of pretty colors to choose from to match your decor. I don't see me having to replace dog beds anytime soon, they are expensive, or of my house smelling of dirty dog beds.I even ordered a king size to see if it would work as a couch cover. Crazy but worth a try. If it does work, I'm ordering Queen size for the recliners. I just want something to cover my furniture that my dogs sit on too and pull off quickly when company comes. I've tried everything else. They either slide off or are too difficult to put on and take off. Waterproof fitted mattress covers, I can't wait to see if it works. It sure did solve my dog bed issue!I have the Sage Green to match my green walls, very soft and pretty color and I ordered the denim. I have almost no sense of smell so I thought different colors would remind me to "change the sheets," even when they don't look bad. Winter is coming and I am going to have a lot of snowy dogs coming in to lay on those beds and they'll get wet and I can just change the cover. And color is fun.The price is right, the quality is good so I am going to go and choose my next color. I hope this idea helped some people out there!

This is the second one I'm buying because I am very happy with the one I purchased last month. I have 3 dogs and I change my bedding frequently, but sometimes the dogs have accidents. This cover protected my mattress topper perfectly!The top feels cloth like, and it doesn't feel super plastic-y. These is no crinkle or crunch sound either. It's comfortable to sleep on. I took the one off the wash it because my puppy had an accident. I was so pleased that my mattress topper underneath was completely dry and stain free! So I need a second one while the other is in the washer.I am giving 5 stars for overall performance, comfort and protection.

This product really does work. Pros: it has large pockets for all four corners to wrap around and stay attached, but also is a perfect fit. It's soft, durable and keeps it's white look.Cons: from the few times the bed was wet, the liquid did penetrate through the protector onto the mattress. However, it was a large amount and a very small went through the protector.

This is a great mattress protector. Fits perfect on my king size bed and does it's job! Price is amazing as well!

My partner accidentally locked our cat in the bedroom. No litter box. She was in there for like 6 hours. Obviously came back to a crazy surprise. Number 1 and 2 in the bed. Obviously. Our mattress? PRISTINE. Comforter was soaked. The sheets soaked. Mattress dry as Death Valley in the peak of summer. Was very pleasantly surprised and very happy that I had bought a mattress protector. I bought this when my 1 year old had a stomach bug and of course wanted to be in my bed with me 24/7. I’m VERY glad that I did because my pillow top would have been destroyed. It seems like great quality to me! Even easy to put on a king size bed. It’s comfortable and I don’t feel like it causes me to get too hot or anything like that. I’ve also never ever experienced that crinkle noise that some mattress protectors cause. It’s nothing fancy looking but it definitely does its job.
