Thick volume, lots of pictures, but the ingredients are obtuse.I haven't made one recipe yet, as I cannot source the ingredients in the UK

Buen libro, con buenas ilustraciones e instrucciones, pero no van a encontrar las mayoria de loa ingredientes en México.

As a cocktail afficiando frankly I expected more. Do I regret the purchase? No. I gleaned some great nuggets from the text but unless you are one of us cocktail folks...like you make your own falernum...then this might not be useful unless you want to know about Japanese cocktail culture, in which case it is a stellar resource.

I make a lot of cocktails. Probably too many. Call it a hobby, call it a problem - either way, I read a lot of cocktail books, and I'm always searching for new and interesting recipes. Sometimes it seems to get a little repetitive - I mean, how many small riffs on the classics do you need? And a special pet peeve is when a cocktail bar doesn't include their A-list drinks in the book, or doesn't specify a liquor, or insists on calling for house-made bitters with inscrutable names (looking at you, Apotheke!).But this, this book is different. It has all the cocktails that I know and love from Katana Kitten, right down to the boilermakers and some of my favorites that have been pruned over the years. I can't wait to make some Shiso Gin and Tonics this summer on the patio, and maybe an Aki Paloma or two when the weather turns colder. Masa does great job walking readers through the history of each drink, the vibe he's trying to evoke, and of course how to make them. And the book itself is gorgeous. It immediately got a spot on my coffee table because the cover art is great and it's a little oversized (though not enormous).Overall, I cannot recommend this book enough and may pick up another copy while it's still this cheap. I know that this one will eventually pick up some umeshu stains as I work my way through the extensive repertoire of Japenese cocktails.Kanpai!

Libro arrivato con circa 1 mese di ritardo .Il lavoro in se , non è male , ma per quello che costa ,è un libro adatto agli amatori ,non ai professionisti , Scarno , più fotografico che altro .Delusione .

Besitze mittlerweile eine breite Sammlung an Büchern über Cocktails (Death & Co, Bar Bibel etc,), dieses Buch ist eines meiner Lieblingsbücher geworden. Super tolle Rezepte für Japanisch inspirierte Cocktails.
