Works with difficulty, good customer service.
This package plus a key is close to $150 and you still have to cut the key. If your local locksmith will do it for $180 and you don't plan to ever use the program again, that might be a better solution. My package came with a DVD with the software. They sent version 17.1, which expired in July 2023 so it didn't work. I messaged them and they sent me a link for version 17.3, which does work. The latest version is 18.0. You have to disable your virus software to install all the components. There is a way of using a virtual machine but I didn't. You have to start the software by clicking on the patch. Otherwise, it doesn't work. You have to open Techstream to connect it with the driver for the cable. I watched a YouTube by Mở hộp to install the software and a video by Doin’ It with Andrey to program the key. It took hours and many attempts to install the software so that it worked. The key programming was easy after that. I didn't get the metal key cut because I have never had to use the emergency key on any vehicle.

Would not recommend, mostly "read only" capable
This cable is a very limited copy of better, but also much more expensive J2534 cables, and you will be very limited in the operations you can do with this. I would consider this mostly "ready only", so while you can load Techstream (slowly), you will most likely not be able to do any serious ECU/module updates. I for example attempted to do a TPMS sensor update on a 2010 Toyota, but got an error message when doing so, and the seller has confirmed that this cable does not support that operation.More specifically this "cable" and other similar cables seem to be missing the K-line chip which you can see yourself on the board of the chip. To confirm this chip missing, turn the cable to opposite site of the J2534 sticker and in the very top in the transparent housing you can see that there is a space for a small chip just left of the casing screw, but the chip is missing (two other chips are to the left of this empty spot).I cannot recommend spending money or time trying to make this cable work. Look into more modern solutions such a bluetooth dongles with apps that will be able to do most of what you will be able to do inside Techstream anyways at more or less the same price point, but at a fraction of your time.

2010 Toyota Prius - Worked perfectly with Win 7 64-bit!
This will work perfectly if you install the drivers correctly. It will NOT do ECU updates, but you CAN do ABS functions, make key fobs, and read and clear codes and sub-codes.IT ALL COMES DOWN TO HAVING THE CORRECT DRIVERS FOR YOUR VERSION OF WINDOWS. If you can’t get this to work, it is almost certainly because you either don’t have the proper drivers, or you don’t have them in the right place for TechStream to find them. I have included a photo of where the drivers should be placed for this to work. It’s the second photo, and the location is highlighted in blue. The best thing you can do is get the XHorse Diagnostic Tools and run a connection check. That will allow you to learn if you are using the right drivers.I had this up and running in 30 minutes, and was outside in my Prius figuring out why I’m getting an EVAP error.

Tech support and setup is A+
I was hesitant to try this option to be able to program my Matrix transponder keys along with a client's 2009 camry keys and transponder. I tried to follow the software download and install instructions and was not successful. The seller gives the option for remote installation by him using Team Viewer conferencing software and your computer's firewall and security protocols must be turned off to install a cracked version of Toyota Techstream software for this cable to work. I decided to take a chance and let the vendor do the install which he did promptly within 24 hours of the request. I made a recovery flash drive for my laptop before requesting a remote install to protect against any possible virus or malware and will note that my laptop is working just as well as it was before the remote installation of the software. I would highly recommend that when you are ready to have software remote installed to close all programs, games and videos as this will delay the seller to do the install. I could have returned this cable and purchased a toyota key and fob programmer dongle for about the same price but now I have detailed diagnostic tool that allows me access to all the computers and canbus on Toyota, Lexus and Scion vehicles along with the ability to troubleshoot and Fully clear DTC codes.

Would save you a lot of money if you know how to use it.
Installing software is really difficult requires you to disable all protection in your computer since the version for the software is cracked.
