Efficient, space-saving, safe
I've tried to spiralize veggies before, but the plastic contraptions have all been too fiddly and hard to clean, plus half the spiralized veggies wound up falling on the counter and not in the bowl. Major pain, so I never think to use them. This widemouth jar spiralizing set, however, is perfect! First of all, I love how all of the pieces can be stowed together on top of a pint-sized jar, along with my other mason jar-stored kitchen items, and the lid that doubles as the spiked veggie holder keeps my fingers completely away from anything that might cut me.The three blades are useful, but I probably will use the two that have little shredder/slicer triangles the most because they seem to cut better than the one that's just the slicer. This probably has more to do with the thickness of the vegetable used than anything else.I love the fact that the spiralized veggies go straight into the mason jar; nothing can fall where it's not wanted. It will be really easy to make quick little spiralized veggie salads from whatever is out in the garden ready to harvest, and then I can very easily toss in the ingredients for a salad dressing and shake. Or, if I want to do something that needs to be steamed, that's easy to do in the microwave, right in the jar. So many possibilities! Of course, you can use it with any size of widemouth mason jar, but the pints are the best size, I think.I'm using this set with just a regular widemouth ring, but I like the set so much that I'm probably going to have to get myself some no-rust stainless steel rings and maybe one of those salad dressing holders that fit inside the jar for portable salads. I'm really glad I got it.

Fits my old time storage container
I took a chance that the coffee scoop (wide mouth) would fit my old time canning jars that I use as cocoa, coffee and sugar containers on my counter. My jars are a bit bigger than a wide mouth canning jar so I ordered one scoop to see if it would stay on the coffee jar. It was perfect. I ordered a second one for the cocoa jar. I love them. They look nice and the scoop is made of heavy stainless steel. Feels very expensive.

Perfect!
Fits great on the wide mouth mason jars, tablespoon it comes with is perfect for coffee. I love that I don’t have to keep using random measuring spoons and washing them everyday!!

A minimalist's dream!
I can't say enough good about this gadget. Fits a wide mouth mason jar, which is very convenient for storing your extra spiralized veggies in the fridge. The entire 3-in-1-set nests together and screws onto the jar for storage. It is stainless still and appears to be built to last. Others have written that using this spiralizer hurts their (arthritic) hands to spiralize things, or that they've cut themselves trying to wash the blades. Fair enough. It would take some effort and time make zucchini noodles for a dinner for 10. But I don't mind, because this thing takes up zero cabinet space (unlike the numerous clunky appliances that do the same thing), and the simplicity of it completely appeals to me. Nothing to break, no plastic junk that will eventually go to the landfill. Like anything, it takes a little effort to get good at using it, but you will quickly catch on. I got beautiful zucchini noodles my first try -- some over 3 feet long. Really really LOVE this item.

Works, but it is a workout!
I used the spiralizer with a wide mouth mason jar to make zuchini and yellow summer squash noodles for soup. I liked the smallest size for the noodles. It did work, but you need to make sure you get the right size squash. It is also a work out for my old arthritic wrists. It does get juicy as you are going through the seeds, so have a kitchen towel or jelly roll sheet pan ready to catch the juices. I very much like that there are no plastic parts to this spiralizer attachment, so I look forward to my wrists getting a workout!

101 Uses for a Mason Jar
I find myself on the road for work a decent amount and as a result it has been hard to eat healthy. I'm not John Candy fat or anything, but I definitely needed to start laying off the fast food. So when I saw this product I took a flyer. The idea was to pack some healthier things for the car. My wife (and her mother, a nicer version of Martha Stewart) have a few dozen or so mason jars laying around my house over the years from various crafty projects and she suggested packing them with healthy food for the day trips. Now I just take one of these tops, slice peppers, carrots, cucumbers etc and it goes right in the jar and seals tight. Very solid construction, fit perfectly and while I just got it - I already used it and its in the top rack of the dishwasher as we speak. Easy clean. Ready to go for tomorrow.PS - I saw this on a Sunday around noon and it was on my door step by Monday at 1pm or so. Jarware stuff usually ships fast - but i think that's a record. Definitely recommend.

Perfect Mason Jar kitchen gadget
This gadget fits my needs perfectly! The part that goes on the jar is a perfect fit, and the spoon is very heavy and sturdy. I would definitely recommend it!

Meets expectations
These are sturdy and the scoop has a substantial feel. I think they will hold up over time, especially to plastic competitors. I am using a couple of them for my mini coffee bar. Definitely beats fishing around in the containers for the scoop or grumbling when the jar is full and the scoop won’t fit.
