Awesome bumper
Wanted one of these pretty much since I bought the truck. This version was perfect. No winch install yet (maybe later) but the light bar in it looks great. Install was relatively easy by myself with no winch. Included hardware was great. Cutting was way easier than anticipated as well. Oscillating saw and a fresh blade for the win.Looks great on the truck, like it was meant to be there and it's solid. Works perfectly with the OEM sensor as well and still gives that little added protection.

Great Steel bumper
Good steel bumper for front protection with light and winch mounts. Cost effective option compared to other very expensive options with lead times out there. If you want a front steel bumper and don’t need corner to corner full width protection, this is a good option. Mainly added this steel bumper to add some protection against deer strikes. Steel bumper can definitely mitigate damage taken from deer strikes on the road. Took about 3.5 hours going nice and slow by myself following some YouTube videos. Didn’t need to take the entire bumper off and worked out fine. Will definitely want a good socket and wrench set with some extensions going that route. Need to do some trimming but it was easy using a oscillator multitool. Included a license plate mount and doesn’t come with dring shackles. Included trim for the rough edge after trimming as well.

Very Nice!
Had this installed for over a year. Very nicely made, good welds, coating and decent gauge for the money. No complaints. Seems very sturdy but haven't used the tow points.

Handsome bumper, Great winch compatibility, but time consuming install.
After lots of shopping, I decided to purchase the BA 4x4 HiLine Series bumper for my new 2021 Tacoma TRD Pro. I had always wanted to install one like this on my old 2016 Tacoma, but was totally worth the wait to do it on my new Pro. The bumper fits well on the truck and mounted a 20-inch light bar and 10K winch without issues. It took me about 8 hours from start to finish to install the winch, mostly because I took my time with the bumper cuts and waiting for help to come over to hoist it into place. Most importantly -- DO NOT SKIP STEPS -- you think you're saving time by lying to yourself, "oh I don't need to take off my heavy skid plate", or " I can cut the bumper still on the truck". But learn from me -- DO NOT SKIP or CHEAT STEPS. It will save you about 2+ hours, back ache, and frustration in your garage. The bumper itself weighs about 85 pounds, then the winch adds another 70, so once all assembled and ready to install its definitely requiring a jack and 2+ people to safely maneuver into place. I found out the annoying way that the back two bolts for the winch prevent the bumper from going onto the ladder posts with the skid plate still on. I ended up having to get out another jack in the garage and lower the skid plate so that the bumper can go on. All this while maneuvering nearly 200 pounds perilously steadied on a jack. Shame on me for thinking I could cheat a step. Also make sure you have a good metric ruler for drawing your lines. They ask for 19 - 20 mm from the back of the license plate plastic frame toward the grille to be marked. If you cut it too conservatively (like I did) you'll end up spending a while making sure the two sides don't push / rub on the bumper which causes alignment issues with other bumper components. It is always better to be safe with your cuts because you can always trim more, but it was the most intimidating part of the whole installation because of how subjective it is. I wish the manufacturer would have provided a template for you to trace. I would have happily paid extra for it — just to ease the worry of too much or not enough. One of the steps requires moving the power steering cooler, which on the 2020 and 2021 models requires moving the hoses also (which was NOT in the instructions). The power steering hoses are secured farther up on the ladder frame with a bolt that, if not removed, will cause damage to the hoses when you shove the cooler back. I spent about 45 minutes just puzzling through how to best solve the problem and I feel confident with my solution. The end result looks great and complements an already athletic looking truck. Amazon has some of the best prices, and delivered within 2 days from the seller of when I ordered it via FedEx Ground.Bottom line thoughts:— It won't be challenging if you're handy and have a troubleshooters mind set. The instructions gloss over some important and critical steps. It’s best to download the PDF from the manufacturer and reprint them yourself so that the pictures are sharper and make better sense.— Use a good cutter; like an orbital multitool and be prepared to take your time on that step for a clean and professional looking finish.— Have two floor jacks handy to save your back when hoisting and maneuvering.— Most importantly, take everything off they instruct you to. Otherwise you'll be cursing yourself for thinking you were being clever "saving time", when instead you just made more drama.

Great Choice for 3rd Generation Tacoma
First and foremost this thing is heavy. It took me and my dad to put it together. We watched a few videos on how to properly install it. We used a grinder to trim the bumper as it was described in the video.Few things to mention:Winch: You don't need a plate/mount as it comes with pre-drilled holes. I installed the Badland Apex 12k with no problem.LED Light Slot: People say it holds up to a 22" lightbar but I went with a 20" dual and wrapped it yellow to match the Baja Design lights. It has good welds and material itself looks solid. It's powder coated. I thought about respraying it but didn't feel like I wanted to do too much. You will need to remove your reinforcement bracket and bar as this will replace everything up to the frame rails.Hope this helps.

Amazing Bumper
I was able to install this bumper fairly easily. The YouTube installation video is probably the best way to go. It was way worth the $400 savings to install it myself, and I was able to do it while keeping the entire bumper on.The main thing that I had trouble with was getting the actual bumper mounted on the truck. This was just because of the weight of the bumper+winch. If you have a buddy or a good jack then it will be no problem to mount.Great product overall, well worth the money, and looks bad to the bone.
