When I want an extra-special treat, I use Concord Farms Smoothie Mix in my morning fruit smoothies. I don't use it every day, and I deducted one star because it's so high in sugar, and that much sugar just isn't good for us. But, this smoothie powder is delicious, there's no denying that, especially if you like sweets like I do.I love all the flavors Concord Farms makes, but this pineapple is one of my favorites. I add fresh frozen pineapple, and my smoothie tastes like a tropical paradise. The mix blends in very smooth, has a creamy texture, and ups the sweet pineapple taste of the smoothie. There really is nothing at all to dislike about this mix other than the sugar, and for most of us, a little sugar now and then won't hurt anything. It's a good way to get fruit into kids, and maybe even a few vegetables as well. The taste of the pineapple can disguise some vegetables. You just have to play around with the powder to find out which.If you don't mind a little extra sugar, and if your health is okay, you might like to try this mix now and then. It's one of my guilty pleasures, and it really is delicious.
