Surprisingly terrific
I really am flabergasted at how much i like this knife. It has maybe the best ergonomics for me out of any knife I've ever owned.(probably over a 100, including much more expensive models). The triad lock actually feels stronger when you lock and unlock it than a normal lockback, with absolutely no blade play. The lock was a little gritty out of the box, but is rapidly smoothing out. The knife feels extremely sturdy, despite plastic(grivex) handles and no liners, and has 0 flex in handle. Thin and very light at less than 2.4 oz, it rides in the pocket quite well. The clip works well, that was a concern before buying it. No worries though. The steel, while not a world beater, does the trick for this size and price range knife. The offset to the blade allows me to really use this knife to its full slicing ability. In other words, it cuts like a demon. If I had to find a fault, it's that I can't thumb flick it open, it's strictly a roller for me, but truthfully that doesn't really mean a whole lot to me. It opens perfectly fine for my needs. The thumbstuds are always going to be slightly in the way with a small blade, but much less so than a flipper tab, so no big deal there. I got mine on sale for $26.00, and am over the moon with my purchase. I highly recommend this knife, if the design interest you at all.

So nice I had to buy it twice!!
The blade geometry alone is worth the price. The knife is well built and the ergonomics are great. I've used it to rough out figurines in 1"X6" Basswood blocks and perform some of the detail carving up until I need something like a U gouge. This was the first time I have ever purchased a Cold Steel product, so I didn't like the handle at first, but changed my mind as I was using it and it keeps the knife very light and it is a tough material that will not warp. Same material used for the lower receiver part of many pistols. My son liked it so much he took the first one I bought. He used it to SHAVE for the first time, which I thought was hilarious. It was sharp out of the box but I did strop it before he took it.To the Cold Steel team: I love this knife and hope you come out with nicer versions. As a wood carver I appreciate this blade geometry and could see a version with a shorter and thinner blade.. "Skinny Kiridashi". Maybe a dual bladed handle with both blades on it. I can always dream right?! At the very least build it with all the features of the GRiK and the better metal. I also bought a Grik afterwards and like the features but prefer the Kiridashi blade geometry.

Glorified box knife in the best way
This knife is quietly a highly optimized design for many work and everyday needs. It's small and unassuming, inexpensive, but with a blade profile and geometry that works well for a lot of different things and is a good balance of strong and slicey. The steel choice is good for the price and the straight edge profile and relatively low hardness makes it very easy to sharpen or strop. An enfranchised "knife person" will have no trouble with it, but if there's a shortcoming here it's that it could lead to a dull life in the hands of someone that uses it but can't be bothered to maintain it. There's no perfect answer to that problem, but I do feel the design could support a higher end version with a longer-wearing steel, like Cold Steel's AUS10A.

Cheap but functional
I purchased this knife very specifically to carry at work in an automotive shop because it has a plastic pocket clip so as not to inadvertently scratch a vehicle's finish or upholstery.I'm very pleased with its performance so far. The steel isn't the highest quality, but it is easy to resharpen, especially with the straight edge geometry. The knife is small and light, so it is very maneuverable and good for trimming moldings or opening packages. The triad lock offers strength and reliability beyond the other materials this knife is comprised of.

Good knife
This is the sharpest knife I have and I have a few. I have wondered why? It is not expensive steel? I don’t know why. But this knife is insanely sharp and for me it seems to stay that way even more than knives made of these new super steels. \_(ツ)_/ but, I like it!

Edc sharp
This is my everyday carry, my keys are on it. Very sharp out of the box. Good feel in the hand, looks good, seems sturdy, and opens smoothly

Great plastic clip; Great for gym shorts
I know a plastic clip doesn't sound right but it's nice and sturdy and I can't imagine it will break with normal use. It's also very subtle if you're trying to keep your knife carry low key. I wish more knives offered it.I was watching Neeves Knives on youtube and one video he showed how he carries small knives on the inside of his gym short's waistband. I had pretty much given up on edc because I exclusively wear gym shorts when not at work but this method and this knife allowed me to start carrying again. Recommended.
